It's Time To Get The Word Out - Twitter Addresses of Lock Pros & Media It's Time To Get The Word Out - Twitter Addresses of Lock Pros & Media

Yes I never posted on here. Quite simply, I'm not a board kinda guy. I'll jump on to see what's going on and get answers to questions, but I never post. So for me to start this, you know there is a big bug up my ass.

I myself, like everyone else that is playing on Lock, is beyond frustrated. I have money that is owed to me for the "once a month free" withdraw and also from a deposit I attempted and never had posted, but was withdrawn from my checking account. Another question that I want answered, along with everyone else, what happened last Sunday? It's amazing when such a **** storm happens and no one from Lock responds or makes a statement.

It's also amazing that guys like Rizen and ImJustShane always seems to give a response like, "I will get that to our CEO". I'm not sure if it's just me, but wouldn't you think this Jennifer Larson, CEO of Lock, would personally address the issues we all have had. It's like she/he/it is the wizard behind the curtain.

Here is a short list of problems that should be addressed:
- What is your plan/do you have a plan/do you care that your support SUCKS and how are you going to improve it?
- What happened last Sunday?
- Why are you taking deposits, that are deducting from our accounts, and not posting money?
- What is your 1 month/6 month/1 year plan for Lock Poker and it's horrible software?
- Are checks EVER going to be processed and sent?
- Why are checks bouncing that are sent?

These are very simple questions that a CEO should be able to address to its customers. I'm not sure if Jennifer is really CEO material. Seems like she/he/it is over she/he/its head.

I'm calling out to all the frustrated players that have been posting on this board to reach out to the following people. Ask them what is going on with the company that they are representing. Also ask them if they believe their other sponsors would approve of them representing a company the way Lock is behaving at the moment. Ask them to reach out to the wizard behind the curtain, AKA Jennifer Larson, to personally post to the forum. And not just some lip service like Rizen and ImJustShane has been feeding us for weeks. Do what you will with the address, just get the word out, but please be respectful.

Here is a list of the "elite pros" twitter accounts:
@FelipeMojave
@Annette_15
@melanieweisner
@Moorman1
@Civel
@Rizen1020
@LeoMargets
@nickyevanspoker
@paulgees81
@TheTmay
@JaspudUF
@HokieGreg
@jhubpoker
@bigdogpckt5s
@PrimordialAA
@BigGuyLegend
@gank
@MattStoutPoker
@IceWater_17
@YuranPt
@JYoungpoker

I also think it might be helpful to reach out to the poker media. They would probably like to report on what's happening at Lock. Below are the twitter accounts for Bluff Magazine and Card Player Magazine:

@bluffmagazine
@CardPlayerMedia

Lastly, I did find that Jennifer Larson does have a LinkedIn account. I'm not that familar with LinkedIn, but it does show she has over 500+ connections. I'm sure he/she/it wouldn't like it much if all these business connections knows how she's handling her business. Here is he/she/its LinkedIn account:

http://uk.linkedin.com/in/jlarsonlockpoker

I'm not sure if this is going to accomplish anything, but it can't hurt. Please be respectful when reaching out to these contacts and asking for their help. Also if anyone else has any suggestions please post.

Lastly, all your fanboys, please keep off the board. We really don't need to hear how we should be "patient" and "respectful". I don't get you people. Are you reading what's going on this forum? This is a real problem when people's money is not being handled correctly. Think about it...for every one person that posts or comments about problems, there are probably 100 more people that are having the same exact one. So no need to hear from you or how we should suck the teats of Lock Poker to be able to get answers about our hard earned money.

I'm interested to see how this goes.

I don't think it's a bad idea, i mean so much crap has been going on for too long with little/no answers. Unfortunately, most the pros representing the site will say they don't know what's going on blah blah blah. Because I've actually spoken to 1-2 of them, and it's as if they feel no responsibility or even want too; if lock dies, they move to the next, it's that simple. Until then, as long as they keep getting payments/perks, there's no reason for them to do anything. There are a few names on this list that have already done just that...but I don't want to specify which ones.

But hopefully this could get their attention.

GLGL 100% support, although I do believe if there is a major problem we won't be seeing our funds either way.

If you guys tweet at any of the pros, post a link to the tweet here so we can all retweet each other.

I'll start, this is my tweet to two of Lock's main pros, please RT/reply to the conversation:

EDIT: Wow, we're not the only ones, look at all the complaints when you do a Twitter search!

Great! Just retweeted, everyone else please do the same if you have a minute. In the future, let's try to say "@lockpoker" so anyone that sees the post can click on their name and see exactly who we're talking about. This will also ensure that Lock is aware of every complaint.

Hey guys I know u all have put a lot of effort in doing this Twitter stuff but I'm not sure its in our best interest. If they are going south this will only make it happen faster. Readers will insta withdrawl and then we will really be screwed. Gl either way homies

Remember if you are tweeting the lock pros, don't tell them to leave the company or they are having money problems because frankly you don't know.

Tweet them that you would like support to address the issues in the forum. Or maybe they could stop in and relay any info they know.

Ben-good to see you got a response from Felipe at least.

I just tweeted half the pros. Heading to bed now. Hope this could spark up a little something.

People please join in and get the tweets out, but remember be polite and not jack offs.

This x 1000.
If u just say something about lock being a sc_am or having money problems, our issues will only get worse.

This is all really disheartening to me. It seems they have completely fallen apart in what , 2 weeks time? The lack of communication is the real issue, if they are having problems they need someone to at least come in here and try to calm people down otherwise it's only going to get much much worse.

Just thought it would be good time to re-address this link from the other thread MicroBob started too -- would be nice to see some answers on at least the very last part concerning customer service among other things:

Ya'll are scaring all the fish away with the negative public image. Stop posting negative remarks about Lock or at the very least be coy with your words as to not bring concerns to potential customers. If you're playing on Lock you obviously know of the issues and don't need someone pointing them out for you. The only thing the public complaints are doing is bringing doubt to the minds of potential customers/fish. I don't think this is going to have much of an impact at all. Tweeting your problem isn't going to do anymore than sending an e-mail would. Here is a sentence from an article that just about sums up this whole situation.

Quote:
As the head of one of the few remaining US-facing online poker networks, Larson evidently feels affiliates – and players – have little leverage in these types of disputes, and should therefore accept such backhanded treatment with a clenched-teeth smile and a submissive ‘Thank you, sir, may I have another?’ demeanor.

I can only speak for myself but I can promise everyone that each and every player on this site is valued by management and the other pro's. We are all aware of the issues regarding the software and lag in support time responses. Tweeting all of the Lock Pro's or Lock Poker is a way for everyone to be heard but I would like to suggest to keep in mind that Lock Poker continues to operate in a tough landscape so that American players can still play the game they love. It's not perfect, and these issues are all priority right now and are being addressed as fast as possible. Have all of these issues been addressed fast enough? No, but the effort is there behind the scenes and no one is working harder than the entire administrative team to make Lock Poker/Revolution the best online poker site/network for players. I ask that players remain patient just a little bit longer and have confidence that your voice is being heard and is not being ignored. It's a lot to ask for right now all things considered but for every complaint I could point to 4 or 5 examples where Lock strives to give the players on this site and network the most long term rewards.

I can tell everyone that Lock management has added a team of new support personnel that will be a noticeable difference for all involved within the coming week or two. They are working tirelessly to make the support team here the best in the industry.

Players are tired of hearing about the challenges facing online poker we all want them fixed, in fact pro players are often times most affected by cashout limitations and other issues despite what many believe. We are all frustrated to a certain extent but in times like these the energy spent on the negative only takes time away from addressing everything that needs to be fixed. I'm more guilty than most when it comes to letting my frustrations regarding player issues get the best of me. Pro's are facing the same issues as everyone else. I am just one very tiny cog in the wheel so to speak but will make it a point to make myself available and will be the first to apologize for the frustration that many feel right now.
07-14-2012 , 09:21 AM
i agree with bringing light to the community on twitter about these issues but i dont think its powerful enough of a statement we really need to make an impression to be heard .

I suggest we all do a sitout everyone backs out of the sunday 100k or everyone sits at the tables and nobody play!

It was done about a year ago when pokerstars raised thier rake and everyone flipped out well a post started on here i think..maybe pocketfives not sure but anyway the word got around and everyone sat out at tables and it really was noticed by the pokersite the next day they changed the rake back to normal rake...the people won , and i think we can win this battle also .

We are the ones that run this company technically we deposit...we play...we pay the rake which pays thier bills , therefor we hold the power to change all this lets start a movement.

I can't speak for everyone but I personally didn't feel comfortable addressing the issue until I had some answers of my own. I played the 100k and 65k last Sunday and like I said above, faced the same frustrations as everyone else. If I was frustrated on the tables I certainly knew the player base was as well and there wasn't very much that I could say that would take that away. That being said we should have taken a more active role in alleviating concerns and I offer my personal apology for failing to do so.

After the tournaments our Pro's and management were rightfully bombarded with questions, emails, twitter comments, and other media outlets wanting to know what was being done to address the problem. Many of the players that were affected are our friends and referrals brought to Lock by our recommendations, we DO share in the frustrations surrounding last Sunday.

I feel very confident that moving forward these issues have been fixed and that the players who stand by Revolution gaming will be rewarded. I will once again be playing the 100k and 65k tomorrow.

I am most excited about the increase in support staff that has been added and can confidently say that I think the players will be as well in the very near future. It will be a noticeable difference.

These comments are probably why more Pro's choose not frequent this forum. I'm trying hard to be accessible and answer the questions that I'm able to answer.

Once again, I apologize for the frustrations everyone feels. These issues are being addressed and players will be rewarded for sticking by Revolution/Lock.

Guys, remember not to tweet anything populist or polemic or even untrue speculations. That doesn't help anybody and scares away people without reason. It's a thin line between reasonable complaints and pure panic-driven populism... We want statements, fixes and improvements and if we want to be heard, we have to stay calm and argue objectively without insulting anyone. We have to show more class in this matter than Lock does by ignoring our rightful complaints

Wow you're a huge tool. We get a heartfelt apology and a promise that support is going to get better from someone who's going out of his way and you act like this? Go lose your pocket change at merge we can deal without players like you. I'll continue to rake my several thousand a month on Lock.
