yes there are 31 days in May but the pop up in the software says it is tonight.....so maybe Lock didn't get that memo.

Ah, they originally said June 1st, but the link above says "Lock Poker will switch from Merge to Revolution at 7am CET on the 31st of May, we expect up to 6 hours downtime for the switch to take place." So yeah, 0200 EDT tomorrow morning then. My bad, just going by what they had said before.

Anyone have any info on HM1 compatibility with Revolution? Wondering What steps I will need to take to get it setup smoothly.

last I checked, the current version of HEM1 wasnt working with Cake.

you either needed HEM2 or an old version of HEM1

Hem1 works with cake but only for tournies and sngs

I really hope Lock/HEM does something about this if true.

The current version hasn't worked with cash games for months. People have been complaining constantly in the HEM forums.

It seems they don't really care if HEM1 works well anymore, as long as they keep HEM2 running.

Hem support told me a few days ago that they're working on an update. Ironically a few months ago on cake cash game HUD worked for me but tourney and sng HUD didn't work for hem1

do all the shills move from cake to this network
05-30-2012 , 10:22 PM
SNG/MTT HUD does not work for Cake/Revolution. Cash HUD works, but no preferred seating.

Hasn't been a new HEM1 update since the new year.

So it sounds like HEM2 is the only option for cash players. Sigh.

HEM1 works for me for cash. Ver. 1.12.09

May be a dumb question, but since I don't have a lock or cake account, where can I download Revolution once it's ready to go? Thanks in advanced!
05-30-2012 , 11:27 PM
i have hem1 version 1.12.10a which is the latest version for hem1 i believe. cash games don't work but sngs and mtts do work. i guess you have a choice between one or the other lol

just sign up on lock or a cake skin. they will automatically update when its time for revolution network. i suggest lock since they have added player benefits, their own cashier (which is much MUCH faster and reliable than cake), etc. unless you put in tons of volume or play high stakes, you should choose 36% rakeback instead of vip.

Thanks for the quick reply. Issue with that is that I'm from Wa State, no I can't make an account on either software. Once Revolution launches though, they will allow Wa players to sign up. Will there be a site to download it from?

Because they're still on Merge. This is a Merge rule. The switch won't happen for another hour and could take from a couple of hours to 6 hours to complete, based on different reports.

Lock has previously stated and it has been mentioned numerous times in this thread that the only state forbidden on Revolution will be Utah.
