Is anyone else's lobby as bare as mine?
Use the Print Screen button aka PrtScn

I assume you are on windows. Google is your friend.

Supposedly Control (Ctrl) + PrtScn will only copy the active window as opposed to the whole desktop. I know if you are not logged in to the client it copies your whole desktop, I have not tried it otherwise. I maxed the lobby to fill the screen but it still copied my second monitor as well.

I like the snipping tool when using windows, it's in 'accessories' I think.

It lets you select a specific area to capture instead of the whole screen.

Or you can just Crop after taking the screenshot.

Or you can just use gyazo

So i downloaded the lock poker software and see there are 3 tables of 6 max 200nl. 6 tables of 6 max 100nl. I do not have a lock account.

I log into my intertops account and see 3 tables of 6 max 200nl. Then i see 10 tables of 6 max 100nl.

Does that mean im middle tier?

It sounds like you are top tier on Lock and middle tier on Inter.

If you email me your details I can look into it for you.

But if he just downloaded Lock and doesn't have an account on Lock how can he be top tier?
04-01-2013 , 03:19 PM
Yea that is what got me confused. I don't have a lock account and i just downloaded lock only.

Sorry then it means your Inter account is middle tier and your Lock account is the lowest tier.

This still doesn't make any sense. How can he be lowest tier if he doesn't have a account? Shouldn't he be able to see all the tables that Lock has to offer if he only downloaded the client? I also thought the lowest tier doesn't have access to the high limits? Or is 100 and 200 not high tier?

Why would you show more tables than a new account could see to a player not yet signed in?

If you showed all available tables then when they created their account suddenly they saw less tables they would feel cheated.
04-01-2013 , 04:18 PM
Shane any update yet on why Lock players are able to play more tables regardless of teir status? Seems like the network should have had ample time to get back to you on this.
04-01-2013 , 04:25 PM
For example there are 9 tables of 50PLO running and I can see all of those without an account. With an account I can see 3 of those tables. Yes I feel cheated. Oh wait those tables are not included in FP. lol

That's why there should be a pop up explaining fair play to new players that they have to read before signing up to the site so they won't "feel cheated"

Is 100/200 available to the lowest tier?
04-01-2013 , 07:01 PM
^^ ive been saying this for a while now. If Lock thinks fair play is a good thing they should stand by it and openly let players know about it, it's desired effects, the formula used in determining which tier you're in, which tables are on the site yet unavailable to you, etc.

http://www.pokerscout.com/news/weekl...r=2013&week=14

Revolution Gaming Network continues to plunge after implementing its Fair Play technology to segregate players by skill level. In the three weeks since Fair Play went into effect, Revolution has lost more than 25% of its traffic with more losses on the horizon.
04-01-2013 , 08:58 PM
The thing is, Lock's traffic is pretty good.

Its all the other skins like Intertops that have no tables to play for the grinders.

Are you concerned they will feel cheated when they discover they can't any money out for months?
04-02-2013 , 10:19 AM
nobody likes fair play technology. how do we start a petition to revert it back to normal?

fair play is actually doing weak players a disservice. Just like in any sport/game, you get better by playing those who are better than you. Anyone who is a winning player now most likely went through a period of hell losing money. But through those losses, they learned their mistakes and became better players on account of them.

how long till lock folds this crap hand? or admits that the real reason behind it is actually something other than providing a "fair" playing field?
04-02-2013 , 11:01 AM
Man I didn't realize quite how bad this crap would kill the games. Your network is much to small for these kind of shenanigans

I logged on to my tops account (I have 5k hands and am ~breakeven fwiw) and look at the 50-200nl games during a fairly busy hour. There are a total of THREE 6max games I can join all at 100nl, there's a 50nl with 1/6 and 2x 200nl with 1/6 and 1/9. Sweet lol!

After this I open my list up to all stakes, 21 games with people (10 of which are long guys sitting tables, mostly at 3/6+). So from 2/4cent up to 500/1000 I have 10 games I can join and only 3 running at my (the most popular) stakes. No 50 or 200nl to join, no 9man games, just 3x 6max 100nl tables SWEET

All this talk of Lock players getting preferential treatment in this situation is sickening as well
