Hey All,

I had a positive experience with Lock poker yesterday and wanted to share it here. If anyone reads my posts here they know I feel for the most part lock poker takes good care of me. However if I feel they are effing up in an area I wont hesitate to tell them publicly like I did many times in the casino bonus thread. So I'm sure I will be called a shill or what not by the haters, but anyone who reads my posts knows that is not the case.

Anyway I spent last week in NYC on a surprise trip my GF took me on for my birthday. I had purchased our train tickets home online and had the online boarding pass on my phone within my email. When I get to where I need to show this boarding pass, I can not for the life me find it in my email. Despite me having it cued up and ready not more than an hour before that. Fortunately I was able to talk my way through the situation and board the train, but I immediately became suspicious. I pulled out my laptop to try to check out my email and my password is no longer valid. I still had lock poker open from the last time I was on and immediately transferred my money into my vault. This gave me a lot of piece of mind, but I still didnt want anyone on my account so I then immediately changed my lock poker password.

At that point I let it sit till we got home a few hours later. Once home, I got a pop saying my account was disabled due to too many failed log in attempts. I immediately pmed rizen and he got back to me within a half hour. He set up a skype chat with me, him, and a women named Lizel on Locks security team. She informed that shortly after I transferred the money to the vault, someone had tried to log in 10 times and failed. She then walked me through all the communication between my email account and lock poker and her and Rizen helped me make my email more secure so this wouldnt happen in the future.

Anyway, the main points here are the vault really helped give me piece of mind in a pretty tough sitatuion, and Lock Poker support was also very helpful to me when I felt I really needed them. They obviously didnt do anything to directly prevent my account from being hacked, that was all my doing, but they did help me a lot. I also cant stress enough how nice it is to have the vault in a situation like this. I really do feel my money is safer on lock than any other site because of the vault and that is a pretty important factor imo.

Anyway just wanted to post m my positive experience. I know a lot of the posts here are negative experiences with lock, and they deserve a non zero percentage of them for sure, but I was so pleased with my experience with them that I felt i was the right thing to do to post about it as well. Also definitely be sure to secure your email with better security questions and answers and change your lock poker password regularly. Definitely consider an email account just for lock poker with nothing else attached to it.

GL all!

EDIT: I tried to edit the title before I posted it and did a terrible job, because now it doesnt make sense. Lol

Wow, scary stuff. I'm glad it all worked out!

Sweetness, should be more careful though.

Thanks guys.

Tough to be more careful other than creating a new email account and making the security questions tougher. I changed my email password 7 days before this happened, and the second something was remotely fish with my email (an email being deleted that I didnt delete) I immediately transferred to the vault and changed my lock password. Those actions likely saved me thousands of dollars, and are pretty much as careful as you can get when it comes to securing your poker monies these days.

They should have email accounts with RSA tokens
