Did Lock CEO Jen Larson take a trip to Portugal with several Lock pros? Did Lock CEO Jen Larson take a trip to Portugal with several Lock pros?

Well, everyone wanted to hear what a Lock pro had to say so I figured id share some of it.

Anyways, and I am serious in asking this question because I'm just not sure, but why is Lock hated with a passion but Carbon isn't? Last I looked in Carbon thread cashouts were taking forever there too. Are ROW getting them way faster on carbon? Obviously there must be some huge difference but I couldn't figure it out when I went looking. Seemed like carbon cashouts were baked up multiple months also.

All Shane said in that post is that Druff's sources were lacking in facts. That could easily still be true. Shane obviously knew about the trip, he didn't deny that the trip happened at all.

Anyways, Portugal is a beautiful place. I went there once for a football game. Where in Portugal did they go?

1- carbon ryan/chris have been ridiculously on point when dealing with trolls and respond usually with pretty accurate information

2- ROW cashouts are happening very quickly. Its just the US ones that are taking so long

3- Carbon cashouts are expected to take 4-8 weeks and now its pushing past that point, so I wouldn't say that Carbon is taking months to pay out, its likely just this hiccup

4- lock allowed p2p xfers and then ****ed players who did so. carbon removed them, and stated the reasons why.

5- lock was heavily involved in girah scandal

6- carbon does not have ridiculous affiliate programs that have clearly unsustainable rakeback. carbon actually has pretty ****ty rakeback right now, which is a separate issue, but at least they have been honest along the way

7- lock introduced fair play technology and ****ed over everyone, carbon has yet to do anything with respect to skill segregation

That being said, obviously ROW cash out time is very important in determining what happens with Carbon. the instant ROW times start increasing, I'm going to peace out from Carbon. I should also note that in general, Carbon has been better than Lock in almost every single area, especially with regards to communication from support

Hehe, these days I don't give a sheeeyit about rakeback. Just point me to a cardroom that pays. I'm sure that's where you're at too!

@chiefsfan17 Just use Google Maps "Museu da Imprensa, Oporto, Portugal" you can see the bridges in the picture.

I was also informed that all Lock pros on this trip were instructed to keep quiet about it (no tweeting, Facebook pics, etc), given the less-than-acceptable cashout situation right now.

Know anything about this, Shane?
And your posts from a Lock Pro:

The main things he posted were that Lock Pros went on an expensive trip to Portugal and were asked not to tweet/fb about it during the trip.

Those seem accurate given Chiefsfan's texts posted from a pro.

Druff's post seems pretty accurate at this point. You could argue one minor detail (the reason stated on why they were told not to make it public), but otherwise, it looks pretty accurate based on the stuff you posted from a pro Chiefs.

chiefsfan, you are a Lock affiliate, right?

Definitely looks that way. You're not looking at these things rationally.

Nothing will improve in 1-2 weeks, unless that's when Lock's deposit processors pay them, and they forward that money to a few people to continue the cycle of the ponzi scheme.

I supposed it's possible they also might get a small infusion of cash by convincing some sucker to buy into the network, but in all likelihood this is all just stalling.

And the end result is clearly written on the wall.

I'm sorry, but I find it very disturbing that all these "pros" are partying with our money when lock is clearly busto.

I hope I'm wrong, and I hope Lock has a solution to pay people, but I would bet a LOT of money (and give very good odds) that they don't/won't.

Just makes me sad that the world is so scummy that fellow pros won't stand up and do the right thing. I mean, if I knew a site was busto, and freerolling people. While I might not "out" them if I was under a contract that prevented me from talking about it, I certainly wouldn't take a limo and party on the other player's money. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't enjoy it, I'd be sick to my stomach the whole time I was there.

Guess some people just don't care about others.

I miss the party days. Back then the whole poker community stuck together a lot more, helped each other out, and would of never tolerated something like this. Sadly online poker was perceived as "dirty" but was actually a pretty clean game...now my parents view it as "clean" (since I've been doing it for 10 years) but it's actually VERY DIRTY! So much filth in my profession, makes me sick.

+1 Rika. So disgusting that these pros are living it up especially when most of them add nothing to the site. Wonder how much lock has wasted on these "pros" the past year.

Actually OP is correct. Maybe the Lock pros have been quiet, but their girlfriends haven't been #FACEBOOK

TLDR

these so called lock pros make me sick. all of these clowns know lock's current situation. For them to ride around in limos and **** like they are actually important is more disgusting than annette obrestad on a friday night.

perfect example of this b.s. is melanie weisner's post in the lock nvg thread. the first thing she said was how disappointed she was in the 2+2 community for disrupting her marketplace thread and attempting to tarnish her rep. what a fkn joke. this type of behavior is plagued throughout the poker world. cancer

the people associated with lock poker are pure sociopaths and care about nothing but their own personal gain. unfortunately we will not see our money. Our money was spent on the grinder's fkn affliction tshirt collection and flat bill hats for his boy chino

“The idea behind the retreat is to do something life changing that shows my appreciation for everyones dedication, support and loyalty. I promised myself that when I could afford to take the team there I would. A retreat is something that brings happiness, life experience and unforgettable moments that hopefully change us as people and Lock as a company,” Larson said at the time.

Larson at the time promised many more retreats to come. “I am planning the next retreat right now. I would like to do 2-3 events a year. Again something that is life changing and unforgettable.”
Wow, most ppl only do something like this once a lifetime and your plan is to do it three times a year.

Would be awesome if they could have the same commitment to paying me three times a year.
