Re: Dear Lock, Where are you?

I don't get why it is so hard to hire someone to sit at a computer and answer emails. Give them access to accounts and transaction info...and train them on promotions and the general operations.

I could knock out alot of emails in one day I am sure. I don't see any excuse for a company with that many customers not to have someone handling support emails for at least 8-12hrs a day.

It's just ridiculous to me how it would take more than 24 hrs on weekdays to get a response from customer service.

I have a horrible feeling Lock is not gonna be around much longer and it will be a mini version of FTP scandal

Not surprised to see this article in the top 10 on Google for "Lock Poker":

http://www.4flush.com/online-poker-n...-continue/9728

Sums it all up in a nutshell and even adds affiliate scandals to the mix too? Seems like a stand-up company for sure, lol.

This is exactly how I feel. FWIW support has always gotten back to me with any issues I have had (granted sometimes the responses have come days after my emails PMs have been sent) All that being said, the way things have gone on this forum and with support in general, I cant seem to come up with a realistic scenario where things end well for us players. Ill keep my fingers crossed though.

On a side note: Every one of my inquiries to support has been replied to by Quinn. Beginning to wonder if she is actually the ONLY member of the email support team.

Phew...this is pretty bad record for a company that is 2 years old. Really starting to think about looking for alternatives...

Re: Dear Lock, Where are you?

Actually I don't really want to look for alternatives. I am Black VIP and very happy with the software, RB, Games etc. But all these issues in the article as well as their non-existing customer support makes me think about it...Sucks big time! Please Lock, get your **** together asap!

Re: Dear Lock, Where are you?

Just when I thought I would give Lock another chance, just when I thought they were finally improving, they are now WORSE THAN EVER.

It may be time to resurrect the "boycott Lock Poker" thread.

Btw, folks posting in this thread may be interested in this anti-Lock Twitter action plan:

Thought it was real right up to the part where the author starts talking His Merge Players:

I actually have had my own issues with Lock Poker in regards to their “pros” PM spamming at 2+2 and emailing my players directly who were under me at Carbon Poker, Merge’s BEST and most trusted poker room.
It's just a creative ad for Merge/Carbon.

Re: Dear Lock, Where are you?

It's simple. How many runners does their 100K tourney get? like 700? And this is after giving away 100 free seats? Let's say they get 800 entrants just for this little demonstration...

CANCEL THE ****ING TOURNAMENT ALL TOGETHER, STOP BLEEDING AWAY $30,000 A WEEK FOR NO REASON. (Or do the logical thing and make it a 50K)

Use that $30,000 and hire 30-50 more workers to answer emails and what not, which would be 30-50 more workers than you have doing so now.

How can sites be this stupid?

Re: Dear Lock, Where are you?

They must be doing something right, it looks like the daily average number of players keeps rising. If no deposits are going through how is that possible? Is poker scout wrong? What is the truth? How are number of players increasing if so many are not getting credited with deposits? Just wondering.

Re: Dear Lock, Where are you?

Last time Rizen or Shane logged on here was 7-11-2012. Either they are on vacation or they quit. I'm sure both of them are frustrated, but if they would just hire more help it would be a step in the right direction. Maybe nobody is looking for work?

Re: Dear Lock, Where are you?

FWIW, I received an answer from support on a question i posed 2 days ago about no one answering questions in this thread:

Hi,

We do encourage all players to contact support with queries.

We are working however to improve our current 2+2 section on the forum so players will be able to solve problems quickly and easily.

Thanks for your email.
All our best

Not a whole lot there but at least support seems to be getting back to players. Just passing it along.

Re: Dear Lock, Where are you?

its pretty clear they underestimated the potential problems they would run into when they bought cake and now they are swamped with a worst case scenario type situation and probably understaffed on top of it.

Re: Dear Lock, Where are you?

If I can just take a second to complain about this from a completely self-centered standpoint: It is crazy how well I've been running on Lock this week. Went from ~$1,000 in my account to $2,750 and I'll never see a dime of it. So gross.

You can get at least 2K of it if you want. Post on the person to person transfer thread. People will buy it at .8-.9 on the dollar.
