If he was playing nosebleeds could have easily been a HNR.

If OP is absolutely correct, he will be able to get nothing from his account. I saw an email in one of the threads where Lock support told a player that they couldn't cash out any money received from transfers or any winnings derived from transferred money. Because of this, it seems like unfortunately he is up a certain creek.

i have never played on lock, but I am getting more and more upset at this situation.

Lock is so wrong for this one.

I might make a lock scam website, to calm myself down. Any ideas for some url's.

25 minutes ago i sent this email to lock:

Hi,

I have stated many times now that the vast majority of my funds does not originate from p2p transfer, but from poker winnings. I didn't have any p2p transfers incoming this year I think and there is close to $200k in my account. I have played the highest stakes in the world over all the time that I played on Lock. I cannot even request new withdrawals, as it says there is currently a withdrawal request active, which is not true, as it was denied?

So how can you seriously come back to me with some random email, stating that money originating from p2p transfers is not eligble for cashouts, as a response to why my withdrawals are being denied?

I have also stated all the facts in this thread at twoplustwo forums: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19.../#post38313087

Is it not reasonable that I expect to be taken seriously when I have $200k in my account and I'm being denied any possibility to withdraw funds, although they originate from playing and there will hardly be more than 3 people on the entire site with a larger bankroll?

This is not a threat, this is just an announcement: If my withdrawals won't be approved within the next 72 hours, I'm gonna contact my lawyer, if you don't wanna treat with me via email reasonably anyways.

kind regards

4 minutes (!) later i got this reply:

Hello there,

Please remember that the transfers ability is intended for poker play, not to be withdrawn immediately. This Security Policy applies to all players and all transfers across the Network to avoid security risks.

Transfers are done at the player's risk and Lock can not assume any responsibility for agreements made between players.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kind Regards,

Patrick

Interesting reply considering Lock security intervened and confiscated a players funds when he tried to scam another player via transfer. There is a thread in this forum somewhere.

I don't quite understand transfers are only for playing purposes. Isn't purpose of playing with money is to make money? Gl getting your $$$.

Conveniently, as they've held up your withdrawal indefinitely, it's impossible for you to withdraw them immediately. Tragedy or farce?

Well to be fair, you did include an awful lot of words, and it's not really fair to expect people to read them all and therefore answer you properly.

I feel for you, OP. I'm sorry you're getting screwed so hard.
05-05-2013 , 04:21 AM
How long were you playing on Lock OP? Obviously the odds of getting that money off at this point is very low. Guess you could try to sell it but that would be a huge vig hit at this point.

I think the contacting of the lawyer is the best approach for you, since you have enough money for it to be worth it. Don't take that bull****! That email is more indication that, in my opinion, Lock is no longer running a business, but a scam site.

I hope to god u can get at least some of that money off! Im bent outta shape over 2g's! I would be absolutely sick over that amount! I believe in karma and good people will be rewarded in long run, and scum will get what they deserve. I just hope im around to see it come to frutition!

Class action Brah Brah.
how can they not pay you your other money if it was legitimately won and you didn't abuse the system thru affiliated cashout.
05-05-2013 , 06:34 PM
200k? forget being nice man you need to stalk jennifer larson and meet with her face to face and/or physically find lock poker offices overseas. Thats to much money to be messing around with.
05-05-2013 , 06:45 PM
class action lawsuit lol

Taxi has the right idea, stalk a bitch
05-05-2013 , 06:53 PM
more than one way to make a withdraw. stalking and splitting some whigs is in order for that kinda scratch. so sad the current state of online poker.

I don't know if lawyering up will help at this point. The company is overseas and would be very hard to pin down. If you did get the money, it might take years to get through the legal system.

As much as I hate to admit it....I would probably try to sell as much of it as I could to a speculator in the High stakes transfer thread....trying to move that much lock money in the marketplace thread would be a nightmare.

you might only end up with $70K to $100K....but a bird in the hand as they say....
05-06-2013 , 10:50 PM
How are you not posting in the transfer threads trying to get as much of this money off as possible right now? I just don't understand.
05-06-2013 , 11:57 PM
What an awful situation. Even if he does sell the money to other players, those players would then never be able to withdraw again either under this new "policy" of theirs. And while that goes for anyone accepting transfers of any kind, we're talking about much more money here, where other players would be paying a lot of money for what is essentially "dead" money.

While I agree you should talk to a lawyer or two, with the amount of money you're talking about I'd probably band together with a few other players with large bankrolls in similar situations and try to make it EVEN that much more appealing $ wise for a lawyer to go above and beyond, including making international calls and taking SOME action. I'd also probably hire a "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" type person to find Jen Larsen over $200K. Kinda like a Mercenary detective if you will. ( Spoiler alert)
