Been just using whatever half ass laptop I have off and on over the years. Primarily a live ~5/10 +/- player.

But I’ve decided I want to jump feet first into more online playing and studying in general.

I’m not technically challenged, but I definitely don’t have much of a clue on what to build or buy.

Requirements:

-4-8 tables on Ignition or similar
-PioSolver pro (will likely get a dedicated server for Pio edge at some point).

-Either two monitors or something like a Samsung 48” curved monitor.

My budget really isn’t capped as I’m not strapped for cash. But, I don’t want to go buy a $3k + tower when an $800 will work perfectly fine.

I don’t really game much at all anymore. At most would be some hearthstone or Diablo IV whenever it releases.

I know this is a broad question, but looking for either suggestions on a ready built system or any reputable person or company to build one.

Thanks for your time.

To properly run Pio you will need a fast processor and 64GB of RAM. I currently have 32GB and have to really simplify my game tree when running a deep stacked sim, I just ordered a couple more sticks myself.

Realistically, its probably better to get a basic PC for the poker and then subscribe to one of those GTO Study Tools, where you are accessing a database of solves instead of solving it yourself.

You will not find such a prebuilt system.

Since you don't game and if you go for a new system, I'd recommend the Ryzen 5700g on an X570 motherboard and 4x16gb of DDR4 RAM 3200CL16 or 3600CL16 and a 1TB NVMe drive.

The 5700g has 8 cores, 16 threads and the internal graphics will be good enough for some casual gaming.

Without discrete graphics card, any 500w 80 plus bronze power supply will do.

Also fit in a decent air cooler for your cpu

I think we may have arrived back at the server rental stage again.

Likely will rent a server while deciding what to build.
