I know it was a mistake to login to my personal accounts on my work computer, but I did and now they won't stop accessing my personal accounts after I was laid off.

I was laid off on April 13th and since then my mortgage account has been locked twice, my Apple account locked 3 times, my Chase CC and bank accounts have been logged in from my old work computer, and my personal email had several logins from the city of my old office and the city of the corporate office.
I had a company iPhone but I had never logged into it with my apple ID, on my way home after being laid off I got a notification that my Apple account had been locked.


Is this illegal?

How can I tie the IP address to the company? I know the IP address was my work computer because while I was there I got an alert from Chase that my account has been logged into after I left work one night. The next day I logged into my work computer and the IP address from the previous nights login was the same as my current login.

Any general tips on how I can get undisputable proof to present to get them to stop trying to access my personal accounts?

Change all your passwords, preferably using a password manager to generate strong passwords. Setup or confirm that all 2 factor authentication options point to your personal phone number. Remove your work computer from any trusted/approved lists like itunes. Move on with life, your company is unlikely to be trying to hack your accounts and you're even less likely to get anything actionable against them even if they are.

I don't want to pursue anything legal, I just want to call them and tell them to stay the hell out of my personal accounts and threaten something legal if they don't stop trying to access my accounts. My apple account was locked again today and I saw other accounts where they logged in and looked up the IP address locations. My Google account was accessed through CATO after I was laid off which was the tracking software they used and it was currently also logged in to a tablet in the city where my office was.....my ex boss used a tablet and he also has my work iPhone.

The things you are alleging can be, in many jurisdictions, a serious crime. You should be very careful about accusing people of serious crimes - even verbally - because that may lead to defamation and other legal consequences for you if you are wrong or stuff it up.

Once you have resolve the technical issues (changing access to your accounts), as I see it, there are two viable paths:
a) Ask them to stop doing this. Do not mention anything legal or anything to do with the law, you will probably stuff up the wording, you might expose yourself to additional legal risk, you no upside to mention legalities. If they are accessing your account inadvertently or accidentally in a non-malicious manner, this will let them know that they should stop. I would say something along the lines of, "Hi, since leaving, I noticed that some of my personal computer accounts at Google, Apple, and elsewhere, still seem to be being accessed from your company equipment. Can you please stop this? Regards, MLYLT."

My guess is it is whoever your old computer ended up with. If you were ever on good terms with the head of IT, reach out to him and let him know what is going on what you did to make it stop. Whether it is one of their techs or whoever is using your machine now it's something they should know about.

If any of my accounts get locked again, I'll just reach out to IT and make them aware instead of threatening anything.
I'm kinda on edge from the layoffs and need to just step back and take a breather.
