I'm a Ruby/Rails dev, but lately I've been interested in Javascript and Elixir, and I want to build something using Ember and Phoenix.

This summer should be my first WSOP if everything goes according to plan, and I wanted to build something for people to use to plan their WSOP schedule. There's a spreadsheet online, and I'm actually not convinced the thing I build will be any more useful, but I'm still going to build it, and blog about my progress each day, including thoguht processes, challenges, hiccups, etc. The idea is to get real code in front of people, not the stuff thats been iterated on 10 times and nit picked before it gets in the tutorial/blog post.
