No, I meant that blob of nonsense about the video. I thought surely you were parodying the hot takes itt.

So you literally think women who don't want to watch mud wrasslin' at work, on the clock, instead of doing work, are self-centered and need therapy?

That woman in the video, seemed to have something click with her, when the two males were not even including her to begin with.
She seems to think; she should be upset over two people being the way they are designed and who they are as a person.

Everything that they did, could have just as well been done in a similar fashion for the other gender making fun of males.
I'm going to guess that the majority of males, wouldn't even flinch, if they were on the other side of seeing males wrestling in mud or women making jokes about men.

Yes she should get therapy, if her world gets shaken, by something so easily, and loses her happy mood.

Usually she has something to hide or is just dead inside.

Wow, that's a pretty interesting opinion. Particularly given that the other guy in the video said dude should turn off the mud wrasslin'. I guess cuz he's a guy he gets a pass and isn't self-centered, shaken, and in need of therapy.

Lovely use of calling women hypocrites for something that wasn't even in the video, however. Really helps the conversation.

So yeah, Greg, Dave, this is one of your supporters.

It could have been baseball and went down the same way with the dude.
You are grasping at straws if you don't notice how she snapped compared to the guy just saying he doesn't think its a good idea.
He wasn't the one that filed the sexist report against someone for only two things might I add.

You can't argue it or can I for any matter.

Baseball and mud wrestling. Exactly as offensive and distracting at work.

Dude, you might want to stick to posting about computer stuff only.

You have no argument
She reported the man for doing sexist abuse and there was none towards her.

At no point did Greg or I say that is appropriate behavior.

The boss didn't handle the situation correctly. You give each guy a written warning then fire the white guy for being an angle shooter.

What's there to make an argument about, women's mud wrestling video was against the rules of the company. Doesn't matter if it was his notebook computer or not. Btw successful sexual harassment law suits have cost companies a lot of money. If a woman complains about men talking about baseball then it isn't an issue regarding sexual harassment. If a woman complains about men slamming women then it is an issue regarding sexual harassment. It is not hard to know where the line is and it isn't hard to stay a long way away from crossing the line. Being cognizant of the rules regarding sexual harassment and following them won't inhibit your programming productivity at all.

lol at living in your own universe where you think that watching videos of women mud wrestling at work is okay. Thread delivers.

that video doesn't really demonstrate the issues discussed in this thread. that woman def has issues. nothing offensive was directed to her, so i think no apology is necessary towards her. but they're all actors so its hard to believe anyone truly reacting that way. and the men are clearly at fault for doing all that stuff on company time. especially after they were warned about the rules. that whole video is ******ed though.

Whatever box you choose to put yourself in.

On a side note, I've worked with women that have spent majority of their time on Facebook or looking at clothing items. These women are programmers that get their work done on time and are really productive. I've never once thought of reporting them for anything.

The men in the video, simply were not doing anything wrong, if they are productive in the end.
Specially, when the woman reported them for something that wasn't true, they were not sexually harassing her.

But here, have some free learnin', courtesy of my ability to google basic terms:

Quote:
It is unlawful to harass a person (an applicant or employee) because of that person’s sex. Harassment can include “sexual harassment” or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature.

Harassment does not have to be of a sexual nature, however, and can include offensive remarks about a person’s sex. For example, it is illegal to harass a woman by making offensive comments about women in general.
