Ridley Scott and his brother Tony Scott have teamed up with the History Channel for a 2 hour documentary on the Battle of Gettysburg. For those interested it is set to air on Memorial Day. It will be interesting to see what the Scott's have to add, given the vast amount of material already existing on Gettysburg.

Generic. The Scott's had nothing significant or worthwhile to say or illustrate. Disappointed.

So it sucked I guess? I thought it looked pretty cool just from the previews as far as like realistic reenactment type stuff.

The 1993 movie by Maxwell was tedious to watch. I made it about 2/3s of the way through before giving up.

It's tough to say something really original about a topic that is so widely studied and made a subject of popular books, documentaries, novels, films, etc.
