PBS American Experience- the Presidents PBS American Experience- the Presidents

I keep an eye out for when the PBS show American Experience updates it's Presidents documentaries. I've enjoyed every one of these biographies

Last week, it aired a new four-hour show on John Kennedy. (previously, it did a show on the entire Kennedy family).

It was definitely a non-romanticized biography. If the word "Camelot" was used, it was only to point out how the image of JFK was different than the reality.

I was happy that the focus was entirely on John Kennedy. While his father Joe, older brother Joe, and younger brothers Bobby and Teddy were obviously featured, it was only when the context was necessary to shed light on John's story. In addition, the bio is devoted to his life with the assassination only taking up the last 5-10 minutes.

All the episodes can be viewed on the PBS website.
