I've been watching this course the last week as I fall asleep and the professor seems really great. Just one of those professors that is great at what they do.

I have caught bits and pieces mostly and it seems extremely wide ranging. I've woke up to her talking about Marx then woke up again and she is talking about cabaret.

"History 1C-Professor Lynn Hunt Professor Lynn Hunt lectures in this course which covers a broad, historical study of major elements in Western heritage from the world of the Greeks to that of the 20th century, designed to further beginning students' general education, introduce them to ideas, attitudes, and institutions basic to Western civilization, and acquaint them, through reading and critical discussion, with representative contemporary documents and writings of enduring interest"

Lynn Hunt is a really talented teacher and historian, which is something relatively rare in the academic world. I've read several of her books and met her once at a conference. Seems like a genuinely interesting person.
