I have not been at the table for long time and villain in this hand is regular. He is something like 23/17 and i have similair stats. Theres no special history only that he stacked me on other table when i had KK and he had AA.

fish limps utg and i raise to 80, villan in BB smoothcalls and utg fish folds
I have 150 BB and villain covers

i have AA

pot 190; 8 5 2 rainbow he check calls 130

pot 450; turn 3h now theres heart fd, he check calls 350

pot 1k; river Kh and i bet 700 and he cr me all in, its 1700 for me to call

I have yet to see villain make a big bluff, is this easy fold?

Your hand is almost always one pair (sometimes no-pair) so it is a great spot for villain to check-raise (not good for him to lead river if he thinks you have a pair) - I think you should bet less or even check though as you don't get three streets of (decent) value from his likely range.

I only replied as your 2+2 name is my poker name on some sites and email etc - I love the Iliad for the some reason.

I dont know what the hell people are talking in this thread. I think you played the hand fine, and I think you have to fold the river without solid read. With 150bb, I might check turn, but Im not checking this river ever.

I really have no idea how his hand can alwasy be one pair here, when he bet every single street, thats the most ridiculous statement ever. Theres plenty of sets, A4 str8 or flush that he could have. Checking behind on this river seems fine becuase he will very rarely call you with his range that you still have beat.

check the turn or river

i'd fire every street and i'd fold the river unless i had information regarding him enjoying fancy bluffs

like the way u played the hand on flop and turn, think u have to mix between bet and chk river. as played you have to fold, but i dont mind ur play or a chk call with good bluff card on river
