i think im lost, can someone direct me to the mtt forum? ty.
about the hand i don't see how you can just fold here. granted i don't know just how nitty jcmoussa is but to me the bet sizing to the raise just screams flush draw. unfortunately i dont know any of the players well enough to be that precise with their bet sizing but wouldn't a set be a little bit less around 1800? im curious at to what the 2050 raise means. either he is telling jc that he isn't folding(flush draw) or is trying to level jc into thinking that (set). i do think 55 is well within his range here but as is AJss or something like that. And doesn't prnnyraid bet out a fair amount of the time with a set here? Can he ever have stone nothing seeing a bet out by a good, nitty player who will make folds and a somewhat weak call/maybe float? Feel free to flame/ban/whatever me. I just wanted to take a shot at the high stakes forum and see if I got what it takes =D.
Not sure why I'm offering this, but if you were Krantz and had a set on this board, would you try and maximize value by check/raising this board after this action? What are you expecting people to continue with?
Of course his range is going to depend on how often he wants his long term image/ meta game to depend on showing up with a hand here sometimes, but my guess is he's not worried about that.
That's my first hint... play on...

yea what ended up happening?
lol read the thread, obv fees folded and krantz giggled like a school girl and told FWF to "go wake up emil, i just bluffed jc and scared monies"
I really have trouble believing that Krantz range here is 22 and 55. How can you be a beast and be that exploitable in a fairly standard situation? The problem is there is no right play once you flat the flop because basically Krantz is better at poker than you.
FWIW i imagine Krantz would flat 55 behind, seems like the best line against 2 people playing their hands nearly face up and both drawing dead. If one of your opponents has a FD, doesn't matter, supposedly Krantz is good at poker so he bet/folds turn(if a spade rolls off).
For OP, call flop and look to fold a lot of turns. AQ is bottom of ur range to flat twice and basically Krantz will not continue w/ any kind of bluff.
again for OP, Raise flop is much better than flatting. You still get value out of worse hands, you can fold when your villain reraises because the only time you're making a mistake is by not getting all the money in as 50/50 against some kind of superdraw. (hint: very small mistake)
