it's all the setups that we each use at home, we shipped out for the summer... all the monitors feed to 4 plasmas about ten feet in front of the setups which in turn feed to a room in the house where a dedicated "online poker producer" monitors all the action/is recording the hands. the cameramen on us are normally filming us, that way in the editing room they can map big hands to reaction shots. it's going to be really accurate.

once you get used to the cameras/playing in a "line"... it's kinda dope.

you guys are very wealthy why dont you consider playing for lessons from a tourney expert like elky (current chip leader)??? that will help you learn the tourney strategies and not just cash game.

Just busted out of the Main. think my bust out hand is interesting, probably should post it. 3000/6000/1000. aggro utg player goes before cards are dealt "aces one time" and raises to 20k after he gets his hand. utg +1 who just got moved to our table colds, utg +2 calls, and im in the BB with 160k and 88. utg has 1.1m and the other two have about 400-500kish. i think call / fold/ all in are all options. i chose the dumb one.

since you are almost 200k up vs me in 3 sessions you should accept play 25/50 deep. if you are underolled, you can sell some % of action... just post your graph vs me, show some hands that i played and i am sure will be pretty easy to you have a roll. i am 100% sure the easiest thing in the world will be you sell some % of action (if you need).

even if the true fish ends up joining a site like cardrunners..... they're still gonna suck unless they play hours on end and constantly experience the situations over and over. I don't think training sites are some type of "magic wand" where you are magically phil ivey after watching 10 videos. You have to work hard in this game no matter what. Many fish will never become close to good because they have jobs, family, and just no time to dedicate towards the game.

the tuff_fish vids were originally posted on cardrunners. Cardrunners had some forum (video discussion i think) where you could tape yourself playing and ask for video discussion advice. due to their hilarity, the videos eventually got leaked out and were used for entertainment purposes on various other free forums.

tuff_fish never really got better from cardrunners though. he sucked in all of his videos despite watching all of the videos from the "top pros". I think this is a classic example of how fish will never really get good no matter what. I think people just like to blame training sites for making the games harder when in actuality the games would have gotten harder no matter what. they also like to blame the training sites because they (the person blaming) doesn't want to blame themselves for not winning. people will always be willing to blame someone else first before looking in the mirror. another reason why someone like taylor is getting so much heat is because many people giving the heat are jealous they didn't capitalize on the training site market back when they could have. or perhaps jealous of his success in general.

lastly, I think it's dumb to blame one type of training site for any of this. training sites were gonna happen no matter what. it was inevitable. I think there were 5 garbage training sites prior to cardrunners. cardrunners just happened to be the one that came in and ended up DOMINATING the entire market spectrum.

another point i'd like to make is about the term "fish."

people seem to group "fish" with a person who is "******ed".

what they don't realize is that everyone is a fish when they start out playing. I don't think people play poker hoping to lose. OBVIOUSLY "fish" are going to wanna get better. why would they want to get worse? lol.

some "fish" just happen to enjoy the game more than other "fish" so they work hard and play play play to become a SHARK!

Not interested in any propbet with escrow, or being locked down for a certain number of hands. I said that in cockiness/anger when you sucked out on me after making a terrible play.

I'm also not always interested in playing deepstacked PLO, and won't play deep tables.

I have tilt problems and will not be forced down to playing sessions when I don't feel I'm playing my "A" game.

You aren't going to get me to play in settings I don't like by enticing me with a 100k escrow from a fish. I already wired out the 160k you tilted away to me, and am not interested in bloodbathing nonstop at the high variance game that is HU PLO.

Arguably the best PLO grinder playing 25-50 right now, Brian Townsend, managed to go on a 300k downswing. I'm not interested in doing that, when I can relax and live comfortably thanks to some poor tilted decisions from a degenerate Brazillian.

I'm on often, I sat at 25-50 all day today and no non-russian played me. If I go bust though, then whatever. I've self-excluded myself from poker 2 of the past 3months because it makes me very upset sometimes, and I intend to ride the high of your losses for as long as possible .

is this before or after the bubble burst? it's prob a neutralish EV move to shove, but you're getting 5-1 immediate, and it's likely someone will stack off to your stack size if you bink. i think you can still retain enough of a reshoving stack with FE to call this also, so i don't think folding to save chips for that purpose would be correct here.
