nothing fancy, but if you like meat, you have to go to Momofuku Saam bar at 13th and 2nd (or Momofuku Noodle bar on 1st b/w 10th and 11th if you like Ramen). the pork buns are one of the best items i've ever eaten and the whole menu is just awesome meatatarian fare. Kanoyama Sushi at 11th and 2nd is great. Pylos is amazing Greek food on 7th b/w A and B. I also really like Soccarat Paella on 19th b/w 7th and 8th. Spice Market at 13th and 9th also.

If you like all the fancy, expensive stuff then you could obviously go to Masa, Per Se, etc. But for not huge productions but still nice atmosphere and great food I'd check out all those places

As for the Vegas Aids. I went to the Rapid Care Clinic on Durango near Flamingo and got diagnosed quickly with a little little bit of what they thought was the Vegas Flu. Said they have a lot of poker players coming in.
Actually saw Aejones in the waiting room. He was lecturing the nurse on four bet frequencies.
I can recc that place highly. Rel quick, good service, cheap. They gave me good drugs and now I'm feeling better.

i saw the following hand to end the day:

1 limp, I minraise to 2k, button calls, both blinds call. Flop: 88T, checked around. Turn 9, sb leads out 6k, bb calls, UTG+1 limper raises to 18k, button cold calls, both blinds call.

River 2. Checked to the raiser, he bets 40k. Button snap calls. SB tanks and folds an 8, BB overcalls his last 30k. Raiser shows JQ for the straight. Button flips over K9, BB just walks away from the table busted.

River Qs, ship the man his 180k+ pot!

Yup, sounds just like Alaei.

I ended up getting really lucky with my starting table and had 3 women 2 old nits, 1 online tournament grinder 2 seats to my right and two youngish terrible players. Unfortunately I regged late, so it was one of the first ones to break but not before seeing a couple funny hands.

Right after I called one of the younger dudes down with Ak hi in a 3bet pot, the TV cameras came over and started filming. The guy I had just called down says that he wants to bust on TV and just starts open shoving for like 13k. On the third hand the BB tanks for like 2 minutes and the cameras walk away and right after they do the BB calls with AQ. Open jammer shows 55 and the flop is jt5. Open jammer gives a douchebag sized yell/fist pump as I shake my head knowing the karmic beat down that is about to happen. Turn is obviously a king ball and the river bricks as the elation on his face slowly dissolves into shock.

My bustout hand was actually kinda cool. MP who is a young finnish kid opens to 850 at 150/300/25, hj, c/o, button all call. I'm in the BB with JJ 22k deep, I make it 3800, original raiser makes it 8.5k and the hj calls. Folds back to me, I shove, original raiser thinks a while and reshoves and hijack tank folds. JJ vs 99.
