why would i pay anyone $1/hand who will play me for free? i am paying people who will not normally play me or when i simply cannot get any action whatsoever and want to multi table someone.

Anyone interested in any of these school/poker bets? How about a combo bet?

For a small amount I will bet on me getting a 3.0 and making 500k during the school year.

For a large amount I will bet on me getting a 3.5 and making 1MM during the school year.
07-24-2009 , 02:04 PM
you might be the only poker player on here that i wouldn't even consider making those bets against
07-24-2009 , 02:11 PM
haha cole I'd need motivation for my college-tests like this too
07-24-2009 , 02:27 PM
cole,

is a 3.5 a b+? is a 3.3 a b+? this is fairly important, i guess.
also wtf, 3 and 3.5 shouldn't be that hard for you, i mean you're supposed to be very bright, from what i hear. =(

past,

not sure if he's saying that ae should accept it or if he would accept it. english is not his first language, after all.

1) what's a minimum large amount?
2) what's your program and what leve i.e. comp sci - undergrad, business - masters, psycology - phd.
3) by school year you mean sept 01 2009 - may 01 2010 or to sept 01 2010?
4) what is the gpa scale in your program corresponding to letter grade and % grade

The CTS Challenge for 1MM dollars.

Whoever has higher GPA and poker moneys won at the end of the year wins the bet. In case both gets 4.0 GPA, whoever wins more poker moneys win the bet.

Open to everyone in the world, except Phil Galfond obv.
07-24-2009 , 03:32 PM
lol...and im assuming no dispersing 400k among a few professors to bump yourself up to the 3.5?
07-24-2009 , 03:33 PM
Rising junior, undergrad math, Georgetown

I'm not sure if they do +s or -s, 4.0 is an A and 3.0 is a B.

If you think a 3.5 is too easy I'm certainly up for entertaining other bets.

Large amount is somewhere between 200k and 1M.
07-24-2009 , 03:50 PM
What does a course load look like for a junior year in under-grad math? Georgetown may be harder idk, but when i dropped out as a soph at a state school, getting a math degree was a joke.
