wow i think the show will be awesome. looking fwd to it.

lol at the poker tips video. i think even those tips will be over 90% of the viewers heads, unfortunately. hey, at least i learned what pot odds are, though.

I'm not sure what the target demographic is here (is G4 a big network?).
I think the level of the poker tips will legitimize the show to amateur players but be fairly unaccessible to the layman.

Show definitely looks well constructed and all four players are likable and come off very well. They convey the younger and "cooler" aspect of being a professional player but are level-headed enough to avoid most of the negatives associated with gambling.

Hopefully this is successful and more money can filter into poker via the entertainment industry, funding a new generation of lazy college drop outs to keep the dream alive.

i hope you are right jchristo, that's the best thing that can come of it.

show looks well done and will certainly be a hit with poker players. judging by the g4 forum buzz and the fact that i'm always surprised (one way or the other) about non-poker player's reactions to poker stuff, i think it remains to be seen how much the show glamorizes poker or generates new players. I think there's definitely a chance that it does.

i thought the 2m2mm videos would be good, but they looked great. you guys came off excellent, the show looks like it will be fun to watch, and ansky did a great job of explaining pot odds for dummies lol

that site is pretty damn legit. if someone had asked me last year who would be great for a show like this i without a doubt would have said the dc crew. will be watching and recommending (already have) to all of my friends, who for the most part don't play poker.

from the first 10 seconds can already tell flawless is the man.

once AE had this revelation about himself, he really wanted to keep his self improvement quiet, but then couldn't help but put it in his blog.

At least he admits later in the post that he isn't capable of it.

Anyways, htf cares, huzzah nycballer for standing up for your principles even when it costs you $$$ directly and immediately.
