Villain is 22/17 and a good reg, reason i sized soo small was, becasue i wanted to fold vs a 5bet. I think he views my range in this spot to be not that wide...

not be a dick blah blah 3 posts etc etc but if your in denver anytime in next 1-2 weeks, love to meet up and buy some from you for ps or tilt and play you at these stakes, fairly confident id wipe you out if you never quit me.

Why would you want to 4bet/fold 99 pre? A little too strong to be 4betting as a bluff, imo, and it's not like getting flatted is fun either given you're predicament here, obviously.

I don't think shoving turn can be toooooo bad as played, but c/f doesn't actually sound that bad either given the unlikelihood of him floating flop with the pot so inflated.

In other words, idk.

I think once I c a flop here I try and check it down and call 1 street as played I think I c/f
02-11-2009 , 07:44 PM
Wow... 4-bet/fold 99 for 100bb deep? really?
02-11-2009 , 08:45 PM
shove it in...dont think we have a choice here
02-11-2009 , 09:00 PM
I dont like turning 99 in to a bluff preflop. If you 4-betting with it, it has to be to call a shove. I would call or fold it preflop. As for the turn, shoving sucks big time so check and call or fold. Against described opponent, i would lean towards folding.

Unless he has AK here I think his range has you crushed
02-12-2009 , 04:39 AM
I don't think anyone peels the flop with anything worse?
02-12-2009 , 01:03 PM
Do we think his range includes 66-88?? Also can we ever get him to fold TT or JJ here? If neither of these things are likely to be true then a c/f has to be the best option against his range that is flatting the flop.
02-12-2009 , 01:43 PM
check / fold. You look pretty strong, and he's not peeling overs. He's probably looking to raise / fold flop with 66 - 88. My guess is TT or JJ.
02-12-2009 , 06:13 PM
if hes lookin to pop it up pf, what are you doing coming back over the top this isnt rocket science, either fold to his raise or dump off more when we dont hit a set or see overs and fold anyway all in all, fold pf. lol

c/f 4sho

Not sure about this 4bet..
02-13-2009 , 08:54 PM
haha well you can shove and try and fold out TT-QQ now or you can check/call and hope he was pulling some complex bluff on a whim.
