eh, didn't he also say that he found out 3-4 months ago about it. why wasn't he playing before that? not saying something horrible wasn't found out, but it just sounds like another convenient way to delay the challenge.

Whats he going to post? he's got no other excuse anymore. His only option is to formally surrender and that would cost him at least $1.5m. He doesn't want to pay that so he's basically just scamming at this point. We can hope he tries to retake his honor and respect one day, but who knows.

In the long interview posted in NVG the other day with Jungleman it was pretty obvious he cares quite a bit about this.

especially if he isn't paying up... but 50k/mo is a tax he's paying for delaying the match so in theory it's free money until the match resumes.

And why do people keep calling it a scam. The longer this drags out now the more beneficial it is for JM because he is getting significant free money on top of what he will get anyways whenever it ends. I would imagine 50k+ of variance free money every 2 months is a bigger return than he'd get if he got a 1mill buyout immediately or something.
