If you remember the spirit of the bet, Tom said he expected there to be a lul in action, and wanted to creat some. He wanted to stay home and get action. He also was claiming to be the best ONline HU player.

I guess for you nothing has changed, you can still play from your house, but hear in america things changed drasticly.

Betting with you sounds like a perfectly reasonable thing to do, I mean you have consistently shown your great character and impeccible sense of ethics. Where do I send the money?

The assumption that gambling bets are enforceable is very different than, the legality of the bet is irrelevant. I think the former would mean, the bet would have been legally enforceable had Black Friday not occurred. The argument is about whether it still is.

That being said, I reread the agreement part and the sides never agreed to either one of those stipulations. The only thing agreed upon was the facts explaining the bet. The thread is filled with a cross between fairness in gambling and legal issues. Both parties have posts about each of those topics. The topics are related. The law is designed to be fair, but often times it is not fair. A very heated part of the arbitration will be about what principals should be used to make the ruling. There are arguments for both sides. I wouldn't even know who wins the bet, if the ruling is anything between 0 and 100%.

Then get Viffer to agree that the bet is subject to Nevada contract law. Both sides will be bound by the arbitrators ruling. Assume the bet would be enforceable had black Friday not occurred. You argue it still is. He argues it isn't. For the sake of efficiency you could have the same arbitrators make separate rulings.

I'm doing fine also, thanks for showing interest. Playing poker on the side while having a job that I actually like (Which I'm grateful for. Lots of people have jobs they hate). I guess a few things could always be better, but generally I feel happy and I'm grateful for the things I have. So yeah, life is good.

And no, I'm not arguing for the sake of arguing. I dont know how you don't seem to get how this all looks on you. Coming at people agressively and not answering relevant questions is not the best way to build trust.

He's obviously putting him in huge games, way more consequential than the money to lose from playing out the hands plus the sidebet.

I don't see why the backer would care about the challenge.
Also 90% Durrrr is backed since he hasn't come out and said he isn't.
