5k Juicy Scam and Chip Dumping Exposed 5k Juicy Scam and Chip Dumping Exposed

02-21-2013 , 03:23 PM
I set up a trade with user Dec1 yesterday, my 5k Juicy for his 3500BOA. He never shipped BOA, refused to post in the high stakes forum that i shipped(was stalling) and eventually dumped all 5k in 10 hands at 10-20 HU PLO to istolefruit. He scammed another user on Lock Poker for roughly 2800 using the email nameless7272@yahoo.com. I searched the email on Skype and found 1 match, Andrew st Hilaire and requested him as a contact, this morning he contacted me back with something i never expected, admitting to the chip dump. I know it was a chimp dump because of this conversation

[11:33:24 AM] *** Call from Andrew St.Hilaire, duration 00:30. ***
[11:34:00 AM] hotseat99: ni mic

[11:39:30 AM] hotseat99: last night i think
[11:39:45 AM] Andrew St.Hilaire: what are you going to say?
[11:40:11 AM] hotseat99: not sure what were u thinking
[11:40:42 AM] Andrew St.Hilaire: not responding right noww
[11:40:54 AM] Andrew St.Hilaire: to them
[11:41:12 AM] hotseat99: havnt yet either
[11:53:35 AM] Andrew St.Hilaire: ok here is the letter i am sending
[11:53:44 AM] Andrew St.Hilaire: hello

ok heres the situation.

i needed the money. I gave a friend chips and traded him chips for cash. i didnt mean to do anything wrong kinda new to online poker and this is the most money i ever had on online poker and i played almost everday to get it. That being said i will never allow this to happen again. as of right this minute i play on a old computer and don't currently own a scanner to get that information that you need uploaded. i will as soon as i can upload that proof of address and id to your proof department. I apologize if i caused any trouble and like i said it will not happen again.
[11:54:14 AM] Andrew St.Hilaire: admit to the dump and say i already traded you cash for chips
[11:54:25 AM] Andrew St.Hilaire: and we know eachother
[11:56:00 AM] hotseat99: ok cool i will do the same, seems like it will work
Andrew St.Hilaire

I do not know this guy at all, I was just going along with what he said so he would tell me more information. I found him by simply searching the email namless7272@yahoo.com into Skype, thats the email Dec1 used to scam another user on Lock poker for roughly 2800.

The 2800 that was scammed was clearly dumped which leads me to the conclusion my 5k was also dumped. These guys are running some kind of scam ring and Im sure with some help from the community we can catch these guys. Juicy or Lock security dosnt seem to care about this scamming that going on. My chips were dumped to istolefruit, he is most likely somehow invloved in the scam.

Can anyone help or give me catch these guys or give me advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. I'm isTOLEFruiT on Cake and I confirm that UrAdonk22 sat me yesterday at 10/20 HUPLO and lost 5k in a short period of time. I have never seen this player before (or you for that matter) and it was certainly no chip dump. If you take a look at the hands (only a few big ones), they're pretty standard all-ins where I ran well as well as picking off a bluff. Also, he berated me (and quite offensively) the entire ~5 minutes before losing the total 5k to me. I had no idea this was any sort of scammer.

I'm open to hearing opinions from this forum as I respect the members and I want to do the right thing, but as of right now I really don't' see myself as having any moral obligation to give you any of the money back. Obviously, had I lost any money it would not be coming back my way and thus giving you anything when I win is a complete reverse freeroll on my part. Also, had he played incredibly bad (like putting in 90% of stack and folding or something) and it actually was a chipdump of some sort, I would certainly feel some sort of obligation to work something out. But as you can see from the hands, they were standard flips.

lefort,

you can't ship back money you won fairly just cuz the guy you won it from owes money. nba_guru didn't do his due diligence and got burned. you can't reverse freeroll yourself every time someone makes a mistake. this is super clear cut and not something you should feel bad about.

Thanks guys I figured that was the case, just wanted to make sure. nba_guru I'm really sorry for your loss and hope the perpetrator feels enough remorse to do the right thing and finds a way to re-pay you.

Final Tabled a Foxwoods event with St. Hilaire, he was a douche.
02-21-2013 , 04:18 PM
There is obviously some kind of scam ring occurring here. Istolefruit, sorry for saying u are invloved but seems like the odds of my 5k being dumped are very high after i confirmed in that chat log that the 2800 Lock scam was dumped.

For those saying I didnt do due dilligence the guy had almost 20k in trades this month and a few solid references, so that was enough for me.
02-21-2013 , 04:27 PM
I mean, not sure how long you've been lurking the forums pre-Oct 2012 but I've been around forever and have a pretty clean rep around here.. I'm sure a lot of ppl would vouch for me having a 0% chance of being part of a scam like this.

Also, not sure if you have yet but take a look at the hands and they'll probably put your mind at ease as to the fact that it wasn't a chipdump.
02-21-2013 , 04:41 PM
I think they mean doing proper due diligence before accusing lefort of being a scammer.
02-21-2013 , 04:47 PM
Any chance the 2p2 acct was hacked? Chances of lefort being involved is as close to 0 as it can get
02-21-2013 , 04:54 PM
I can't find too much info on Andrew St Hilaire, but it looks like he's from Enfield CT and took down a tourney at Foxwoods last year. You could try posting in the Foxwoods thread in Brick & Mortar (assuming there's one) and see if anyone knows him. Not sure where to go from there though.

Are you hotseat99?

Your original post isn't a 100% clear. You say that you were "just going along with what he said". That seems like you are one of the two people talking.

But, if you're hotseat99, the short version of your post would be:
"I contacted a potential scammer and pretended to be a beneficiary of a chip dump. He played along hoping to get some money out of me."

This does not prove that he dumped the $2800. And it certainly doesn't prove that he dumped your 5k to Lefort.

Maybe you should focus on the facts that you know and not the conclusions that you draw (or jump to).
02-21-2013 , 05:03 PM
I don't really understand the OP. You added him on skype under the email address he used to scam another user, then he just randomly greets you by saying "person I dumped to?"? This seems crazy! How did he not know who he was chipdumping to? Why would he assume the first person to add him on skype was that person?

Thanks for info anyway. Had no idea Dec1 was a dodgy guy.

i understand ur upset about getting rolled, but to come in here and claim lefort is involved in a scam ring is pretty out of line. no one has any clue who you are, you've provided nothing even remotely close to evidence, and lefort is an extremely reputable regular.
there is zero chance he's involved in anything shady and you should really think a little more before posting.

you should feel no need to respond to his absurd accusations. its clear as day you had nothing to do with any of this.
he is just desperate to get his $$ back and will say anything and everything he can think of in that attempt. he clearly doesn't care how libelous his words are, or how absurd his accusations are.
02-21-2013 , 05:43 PM
Agree with everyone else on not shipping back.

And - just on the chance that he/they (possibly working together, or same person) were playing you in hopes of winning, but if losing trying to get you to send the money back with this whole story, makes me want to ship back even less.

Obviously you take a risk transferring and sending money and it makes no difference if the guy took it for himself or lost it playing poker.
02-21-2013 , 05:56 PM
Aight guys let me apoligize for accussing Lefort of being invloved in the scam. I dont know him as Lefort, just as istolefruit. I am very distraught with getting scammed and ripped off and didnt mean to accuse anyone, especially a solid long term member of the community.

This whole mess leaves me heartbroken and pretty much busto so I was/am very upset and jumped the gone on Lefort. I am sorry for the accusations and poor written words towards you Lefort.

There is still a big scam going down here though guys and I would like to catch these guys. The chat log proves the 2800 was dumped by Skype user Andrew St Hilaire and my 5k was joy rided(FML)
02-21-2013 , 06:10 PM
what is his username on skype (to find out, in the skype chat window with him, hit the right arrow under "close" twice)?
02-21-2013 , 06:12 PM
It looks like you have missed chat out at the start of the conversation.... I don't think anyone would randomly voice/cam call someone that just added them to ask if they were the one they dumped to....

Theres noting missing from the conversation. I couldnt believe my eyes either when I saw it. I just went along with it so he wouldnt delete me. I think I did a great job fwiw making him think that I was the guy he dumped to and getting him to admit to the dump. I never even expected this person to answer my contact request let alone call me the next morning. Then i tell him no mic and when i see his responce about the chip dump, it just outright shocked me.

Skype of Dec1 (as per nba_guru is dec1z0r)

If you google that you get:

http://www.leggopoker.com/members/Dec1/

&

http://www.x-console.com/forum/forum37/topic9474/

His ICQ is listed as: 401-055-895

If you google that you get an email address gambler72o@mail.ru linked to a bunch of posts stating that ICQ. That email address links to the name Sergey Dmitriev on several sites such as http://www.barahla.net/user/734768/

This has lkabal1 listed as their skype. This is then listed on several sites such as:

http://vk.com/k4b4l (name is Igor Proreshnev)

http://sd-5.ru/c230-5435.html (name is Sergey again and a phone number 8 904 637-59-89)

The same phone number is also listed here:

http://saintpetersburg.olx.ru/2-crye...-iid-198638791

Still no link that I can see to the full name posted in the OP
