Most tournament series that offer ladies events (or senior events for that matter), offer them as a 1-day event. They are not as profitable for the casino, and with the field sizes being smaller it's often not worth scheduling 2 days for them. To ensure that the tournament is complete in 1 day, the starting stack has to be smaller, or levels shorter. The WSOP ladies event in Vegas is the only one I know of that keeps the same structure as other events of comparable buy-in.

Did anyone else notice that the WSOP circuit stopped posting results of the ladies and senior events on the results tabs? I would really love to see this changed. Not only can we see who's been successful in live tournies, but it's helpful to know field sizes and payouts of previous events when planning which tournaments to play. Thoughts?

I don't think they post any results unless it's a "ring event", I also would like to see this changed. I'm all about more information. But it could be that they avoid posting results though because the raw numbers may not be good, especially in events Kami and I would like to play (HORSE, Omaha8, etc.). Any circuit event with a turnout < 100 is not terribly great to post stats on.

Bumping threads that died a year ago suggests a political objective.

I suggest you read the sticky.
