TWSS will remain it's own forum but within a category different from General Poker? Is that what you mean?

I mean removing it altogether. Moving any active threads to other forums, but the forum itself would be no more. If you think this is a bad idea, I can certainly hold off for awhile as i move down the list.

While I have not been active over here, nor has the subforum itself been consistently active, it HAS generally been a bastion of civility for the female members free from the asshattery of many of the males that populate the rest of 2P2. As such, I would prefer to see this little corner of 2P2 remain in place...

Yea I mean, I can't imagine that any active threads would remain productive or viable in other forums and I also think that future threads that have not been started or conceived yet, would have little to no chance of surviving elsewhere. Even though there is not a ton of traffic, it def has its place in poker and on 2p2.

Make it at least 4.... I don't post here often, but I do like that the forum is available.

This may not be a high-volume form but I think it provides a valuable resource for female poker players. Being a guy it's also a nice break from NVG.

Even though the decision has been made, I'll throw my support behind keeping the forum open. I've only lurked so far, but I appreciate that this forum exists. Maybe someday I'll have something worth contributing.

I'll add my hat to the 'keep' column....this has always been great for some civilized content

I'll show my support as well for this. It's good to have a space like this. It's perhaps not used that often, but when it is, it is very important that it exists.

I don't see the need for this forum. The place is mostly dead and I have made a few contributions and keep an eye on the place.

Many forums employ thread tags then you can just show forum threads with a specific tag. So I'd suggest create a tag (eg. TWSS, Women's, Female, whatever) and merge this forum with another one.

Sadly, I am not surprised that a male would adopt the position that this small corner of 2P2 for women was not needed...and it illustrates precisely why it remains necessary for women to have their space of refuge...

Deny that the forum is dead. Not enough women contribute. Just like not enough women play poker.

It is not even remotely relevant which of us may have more posts here. The reality is that not all women care to deal with the strategy side of 2P2 as their sole focus. There are issues that are relatively unique for the female players and when those are discussed, we prefer to have a place where they can be discussed like mature adults. We don't want to be piled on by a bunch of NVGtards.

I will agree with the sentiment that I wish more women played poker...I know several that have no desire to play live, though, precisely because they don't like being treated like **** by the males at the table.

This is def true. All the more reason for TWSS to stick around!
