Wow, that seems really sad by that guy. Like, get a life, man.

But it's not the norm, in the LHE forums they have always been extremely respectful and kind to me. Sure, they get a bit rowdy in their respective NC/LC threads, but that is to be expected from 95% young male posters, it's fine in my book.

Recently, I started posting on a religious forum. I have not announced my gender. Why would I? But my feel is, if you could post a poll and get honest answers here, guys will think there is something sneaky about a women posting who does not identify herself as such.
I agree with you completely. On subjects of gender-neutral debate, it shouldn't matter if the person sitting behind the computer has a penis or not.

Again, I have not encountered that attitude that it would be sneaky on the forums, but then I don't know, because bellatrix can't be really mistaken for a guy's name. Well, scratch that, I got some comments on my PTR page which were immediately corrected by others that it was a woman playing the account, heh.

Anyway, really sorry you have found yourself in that situation. I don't know, I've always felt more comfortable "with the guys". In high school I was the only girl among 10 in programming class (and my programs where much more efficient than theirs, heh), I was the only girl at math olympiad, MtG competitions, physics class, Gran Tourismo tourneys, etc. etc. BUT I made the clear distinction that I didn't let my gender define me. It should be my play, intelligence, etc. what I was known for, not for being "the girl" in those fields. I always hoped that would be the same on 2p2 and so far I haven't been disappointed, fortunately.

SSSH!!!! We have alot of respect for Bella in the LHE forums, despite her lack of a penis. (I kid I kid)

Idk how I cam across this sub-forum. I think I clicked "Thats What She Said" expecting something much more funny, and was dissapointed by all the maturity, respect, and class that I found here. This may turn out to be one of the best forums on 2+2. (there's even some hilarious posts) I'm glad those of you who were uncomfortable posting in the more crude forums now have a place to feel more relaxed. Hopefully not too many trolls like myself stumble across it and ruin everything I'll try to keep my random pop-ins and "thats what she said" jokes to a minimum.

I hope it continues to be one of the best 2+2 forums too , and there is certainly a place for humor and some TWSS jokes in here (which I have already been guilty of lol). I think the tone of the forum is friendly, intelligent and fun-- which is exactly what I was hoping for.

I am also super-excited to meet TWSS posters this summer that love poker as much as I do. I'm happy that 2+2 decided to create this forum, and that Katie75013 took the time to actively suggest the idea!
