Hiiii, my boyfriend is a poker player, and i don't know the first thing about poker... He told me that i'm his suited connector, is that a good thing or should i dump him on the spot?

In poker, suited connectors are hole cards that can work together to make either a straight or a flush (or, less likely, a straight flush). Something like 9

, for example. They can make very strong hands, if things work out.

In your context, he might be saying that he feels you’re suited for each other, and that he feels connected to you. You probably don’t want to dump him over this.

i think it means you're speculative and will most often end up losing him some money. But once in awhile if he's lucky you'll score big for him

You should absolutely dump him. Because that's a terrible line! Just awful!

Suited connectors are marginal hands that require very careful handling to play properly and they more often than not end up getting tossed after the flop.

You should be his pocket aces! Or at least queens!

You should definitely dump him, but only because he doesn't have any quality whatsoever and not because of that cheesy line!

I see it as a sweet compliment. Suited connectors can be smart, sexy, and fun. If played right and connect well, they are always rewarding.

He may also be saying that you are an Ace

to his King

.

Think he's a keeper. If you are interested in the game, I am sure he would teach you and explain the power of suited connectors.
