The Arizona state government just launched a feedback website so that residents could read and comment on bills currently sitting in the house and senate. The webpage is http://www.azvoices.gov/

There is also an "idea" section where account members can propose an idea for others to read, comment, and vote on.

In order to participate you must sign up for an account. To register you need to be an Arizona resident however and must be able to verify this as a registered voter by submitting your address, drivers license, etc.

Someone should submit an "idea" concerning the legalization of internet poker in AZ. I will do this (as i am a registered AZ voter) if someone can write a concise argument for this and PM it to me. Anyone interested can read the ideas to get an idea of the format used without registering with the site.

Thanks pokerpunchout for the heads up. I will discuss with my team and see how we can best activate the PPA membership in the state. BTW, I am a native of Phoenix, so I have personal interest in AZ as well!

My argument for regulation is that prohibition won't work, it won't "solve" the problems that prohibitions supporters say it will combat, and will intrude more into people's lives than regulation. Regulation will work better than prohibition, it will reduce problems better, and intrude less.
