I have not been in Mexico since December because my boyfriend and I accidentally moved back home over the holidays! We went to see our families in NJ and decided to try out the newly regulated sites in NJ, and so far they have been great. We will go to Mexico for WCOOP after the WSOP however; I could never stay away too long

We leave for Vegas in less than 2 weeks and will be there for the entire summer. I will probably take a trip down to Rosa to see friends and take that much needed mid-wsop break that is so necessary.

I will keep this thread open, for people who have questions about Mexico and living there, but for now, this Jersey-born girl is back home
Interesting, I didn't think there was enough action going on there. Definitely not for (WSOP) Nevada, I know NJ gets more traffic though. Do you miss Mexico or playing on Stars in general?

Of course I miss playing an $11 tournament with the chance of winning $20k, but I also enjoy the smaller field mtt's here in NJ which provide me a higher ROI and more consistent winning sessions. Also, the schedules get better all the time, some of the sites listen to the grinders and some don't, but they all are constantly improving. With only about 6 months under their belt, I am hopeful for the future. I also like being close to my little cousins who are growing up before my eyes, as well as my 83-year old grandmother who has been fighting terminal cancer for the past 5 years. Being able to take her to Bed Bath & Beyond for Mother's Day meant a lot to me and made me thankful for being back home in NJ.
Mexico will always have a special place in my heart though, and I can't possibly see staying away for too long

Those photos of the view from your apartment are amazing, what do you miss most about Mexico? (besides the beautiful views)
