New advice for new women players, etc.

Feel free to add any new things you're experiencing or changes you're seeing being a women at the tables online or live.

My favorite is, lately I seem to be hearing the guys saying the old "I hate to have you women at the table, you all can soul read us guys so bad" LOL I always wonder if they mean it or they're being condescending. I tend to think it's mostly either true or meant to be funny/half true.

If you're new to this thread tell us a little about yourself and what/where you play and how long you've been playing.

As for me, I took a long break from the game, other than an occasional live or online MTT and a little cash very occasionally. I pretty much removed myself completely from online forums and chat groups. I needed to regroup and refresh. I'm now getting back into things and trying to re-establish some connections. I'm playing mostly online and it's actually going pretty well overall. I still suck at bankroll management though

Great idea, I wanted to post here because I´m also a female poker player (hobby, not pro) but anyway, I think this thread is a great idea. I would love to discuss with other female players.

I´m an STT and MTT player, going from "zero to hero". Started with about 30 € and made around 250 € so far, beeing at the 1€ and 2€ limits. I play 6-max, 9-max turbo and hyper SnGs, MTTs and DONs.

Poker is an awesome hobby and an important part of my life. Wanna grind up.....let´s see how far I get?

I´m a former CG-player (NL100 and NL200) and quit poker in 2008 for several reasons (job, health), restarted poker in June 2016.

Ive stayed away from the tables because I developed a very bad leak that I still have to work on. I tilt super hard. I hit my low point a couple of years ago, and I mentally couldn't get myself out of it; so it was clouding my judgement, making me bitter, making me tap the glass etc. No matter how many times you hear it or tell others that you have to expect variance and keep your cool when you're losing I couldn't do it. I want to start playing again but I need to find a way to cross that bridge
