Does anyone else get banner ads for nail polish on this forum?

All I see is Gary Johnson banners. 3 of them at all times, occasionally four.

I'm starting to see his face in my dreams.

Which is a bad thing, I should clarify.

Thought of two other girly ones...

I take a lot of bubble baths, although that's practical as well - the Army screwed up my back pretty badly, and I'm in constant pain, so soaking in the hot water helps the muscles relax. I'm pretty sure the bubbles don't help with that though, they are strictly for the pretty smell.

I also talk to my cat like he's my child. I tell him what a pretty boy he is, and what a good boy, and what a smart boy. I'm not sure if that's girly or squirrelly, but I know my b/f doesn't do it.

Have you tried throwing some Epsom salt in? If not, do so. I was having some foot pain when my doc recommended giving it a try. it's really helped with the pain.

HUGE bath taker myself! I also have lower back issues from all those years of falling off my horses!!!!

I also talk non stop to my animals. Specifically, I make sure that Rylee, my 6-year old Scottish Terrier knows that she must keep in line with her Scottish Terrier ancestors to guard the house and attack and kill any and all bugs that show up!

I've tried various soaks, they never add much to the short term relief I get from the heat as far as I can tell. I have some eucalyptus salts that I use.

But then you have to understand that standard NSAID treatment has failed, and I'm already on a synthetic opiate daily for pain control (a new development that is working very well right now, thank God). The next step for me is, like, daily Vicodin. Or heroin. :P

Unmedicated, my pain levels never drop below a 5 on the 1-10 scale, and earlier this year I ended up in the ER when one of the muscles in my lower back spasmed so badly (from the ever challenging act of standing up) that Percoset didn't even provide relief and I was in tears every time I moved.

For that I got Valium, which is a muscle relaxer, which I did not know. Nice stuff, Valium. I can see why they give it to help people relax. After they combined Valium with two Percoset, I was in much less pain, and did not care about the remaining pain I was in. It was alllll goooooood.

That's so awesome, I tell my boy (Otis, a 2.5 year old Siamese we got from a rescue shelter) that he's a mighty hunter every time he stalks and "kills" one of his toys, or my hand when we play "mice under the covers".

There's nothing quite so amusing as a 8 lb. ball of fur showing me his fang face.

Yes.

Pretty sure I don't fit the demographic they're looking for. Especially when it is in the ATF forum.

If I join mark or Avon or whatever that pink ad says at the top of my page right now, I get a free beauty bonus. Woot

I know way more than I would like to about a wide variety of girly products, but I would not call anything a girly guilty pleasure.

Modding TWSS might count.

Seriously, you must have one!

Thank goodness people don't hear us when we are in our homes talking to our animals

Before I left for Vegas this summer, I drove down to Houston to leave my cat and dog at my mom's house, and while I was downstairs setting up my cats food and litter box etc. I started telling Rylee (dog) that when she sees Fiona (cat) she should tell her that her food is over here and her litter box is over there.....and just as I am explaining this to my DOG, my mom comes down the stairs and asks me who I am talking to! I tell her Rylee, and she casually replies "oh" -- proving that explaining to my dog that she needs to instruct the cat where the food bowls are is a normal occurrence in this family

Oh God that's so awesome!

Did your dog relay the message?

oh my goodness. I'm glad I'm not the only one out there who talks to my pets. My boyfriend left for Scotland earlier this year for about a week or so, and about 2 days in I found myself having complete conversations with my dogs. I love them so much, they try so hard too to understand what I'm talking about, with the occasional head tilts, and shar-pei snorts.

I figured you ladies would love this for Halloween. It's the hamster from the Kia commercials. And as a side note, is there anything that isn't sluttified for a women's costume? And yes, I want it, but I'm not sure I'm willing to pay $178 for it.

As a kid, I had no idea Halloween was such a slutty holiday, myself. I was obviously misinformed.

I'd wear that hat all winter. I wish I was joking. I rarely wear a hat, but when I do it's one of those jester hats with the 3 plaid prongs. Mentally, I'm 8.

Not unless you are 8 years old or younger.

As for Hello Kitty, it is huge in Asia (EVA Air is a Taiwanese company) with young women up to their early 20s.
