Please send an email to if you are interested in being listed.

Listed coaches are not in any way endorsed by Two Plus Two. They have paid a fee for their listing. Before choosing a coach it is highly recommended that you do your own research. Spend time looking at their posting history, for instance. Talk to them. Talk to their previous students. Etc., etc....

Basic Guide to Managing Your Ad

Here are a few tips based on my 2+ years of moderating coaching threads, both calm and controversial.

- Respond to every question, even if it is an aggressive or ignorant question. If it's a repeat question, answer it the same way you answered the last one. If you don't answer these types of questions, your thread becomes a magnet for unfounded allegations and conspiracies, some of which may not always be able to be deleted by mods (or at least not right away).

- Answer questions in a calm, non-confrontational manner. If you've ever heard the phrase "kill them with kindness" it does not apply anywhere as well as it does in the coach listings. Many users that post mean things or "gotcha" questions to coaches are just having a bad day or venting. They are looking for somebody to engage them in fighting or arguing, they are looking to stir up drama often. Don't give it to them. Multiple times I have seen users ask accusatory and aggressive questions and when a coach responds nicely, they have even apologized for their tone and thanked the coach for their response. This is exactly what you want prospective students to see when they open your thread.

- Clearly label graphs, screen names and results. If you do not, users will ask you questions about it and make accusations that you're not being honest and we often cannot delete such questions or comments (unless they are extremely rude and unfounded). If you post a graph without a screen name, people will ask questions. If you post a partial sample without being very clear about it, users will ask questions. The key here is that you do not want to appear to be manipulating information, otherwise users will call you out on it and it will hurt your business.

- Asking users to post a review is fine. Asking users to post a good review is not. If it is found that you are asking users to post positive reviews, the community will really come down hard on you and it might be the end of your thread. If you have satisfied students, send them a link to your thread after your session and tell them you appreciate any feedback.

- If you offer a money back guarantee, be clear about what it means. If something needs to be fulfilled in order to qualify (time limit, amount of work, results, etc.) be very clear about this.

- Don't title your thread or promote your thread in a way that is not accurate, even on a technicality. Don't call yourself the best coach unless there is a metric you can show people that shows you are the best at something (such as the largest winner in SNGs on sharkscope).

- Providing free video clips (such as embedded youtube videos free of promotion) and/or links to strategy posts on 2p2 can be a great way to show prospective customers what you have to offer them. Take advantage of these free tools.

By following the above advice, you can avoid drama, trainwrecks and problems that have hurt or buried some coaches in the past. This advice is to serve as a guide. If you have any questions or feedback about it, contact Forum Cop or ChicagoRy.
