Coaching with icujoke/BoangTao

Hey guys,

My name is Fred Dykes. I played full time playing online tournaments from roughly 2006 thru 2017. These days I do a mix of playing tournaments, online cash, and teaching math. I have done a little bit of coaching throughout the years including being the main coach for a big backing stable for a few years. Here is my pocketfives profiile:

Keep in mind most of my playing these days are on sites that are not tracked like Bovada, Merge, and an app that is of course not tracked.

Here is a sharkscope graph of my tournament history:

What I offer will be at a cheaper rate than other coaches you will find on here but what I will do is also limited. I am looking to simply review hand histories or hands you have and comment on them on what I saw you could have done differently. I will be offering this is two different ways:

First way- You can send me a tournament hand history or group of hands you would like to have reviewed. On my dual monitor setup I will be watching your hand history on one screen while typing on my other screen on what I would of done differently on various hands. There will be a screenshot picture of the hand above it and I will be commenting below it. It is very easy to follow. I type pretty fast( over 60 words a minute), so I can get a lot of information typed in a short time while going over the hand history. I will be giving you a meeting number on teamviewer where you can watch as I review it and write the report. If you wish you can also get on skype and message me during the process and we can discuss as I move along with the hand history. How detailed you want me to get on the hands is up to you. If you want I can use cardrunners ev and flopzilla and really get specific for you. Some of you might just want my general comments/opinions on hands. That is up to you.

Cost of this method is $30 an hour.

Second way- You can send me a tournament hand history or group of hands you would like to have reviewed. I will make a video(almost like your own personal video on a training site) and go through the hands talking about what I see that you could have done differently. Some of you might learn better actually hearing someone talking about it and if so this would of course be best for you. After I get done making the video I will send it to you where you can view it(as many times as you want). Again on how detailed you would like to get on the hands is up to you. I can get very in depth or I can keep it simple, it is up to you.

Cost of this method is $40 an hour.

Follow up- If you have any follow up questions after using one of these two methods I will just charge $20 an hour on this. Whatever questions you had that need clarified will be answered in whichever format you used on your review.

To be clear these are the two methods I am offering and what I feel I am the best at doing. By doing it this way I can set my own schedule on time which is a must for me these days. You can contact me through pm on twoplustwo or you can add me on skype where my user name is icujoke.

Thanks!

Fred

Re: Coaching with icujoke/BoangTao

Hey guys,

Just saw this thread and wanted to comment, Fred and I have talked a lot of poker over the years and despite never meeting in person we've become pretty good friends in the process. He was really able to help me improve on some of the more complex mathematical aspects of the game where I felt I was lacking. Have always enjoyed our poker (and sports) conversations. He's a smart, stand-up guy and these lessons seem like a steal at that rate.
