anything that happens after this is Viffers attempt to weasel his way out of the bet that he just confirmed. he's pissed that he got bluffed by eli, so he just starts making up **** about 87 high another lie. it doesn't get anymore blatantly obvious than this, when howard turns to him and asks him "and you really had deuces?" viffer says "no, I didn't say what I had." wow, really viff? u didn't just confirm that you had deuces 30 seconds ago, and you weren't lying to eli about it?

There's a difference between harmlessly lying about what you just mucked or what you raised the river with and lying when you agree on a wager regarding your hand. In the latter case a gentlemen's agreement is established and by dishonoring that you are blatantly stealing money from the other player.

You've got to agree on what you're betting on. Viffer was trying to get information on whether he was bluffed. He almost tells the truth about his hand (didn't want to admit he was raising with K/3 preflop) and then fishes for the info by saying I'll bet you 10k I was beat. If Elezra doesn't accept the bet, then he knows he made a good laydown. But when he does based on the "fact" that viffer had dueces, then viffer just owes him the 10k plain and simple and he got his valuable info. Eli even said it, "You got your info." I think viffer was slimy as hell here and Eli was above board all the way.

Scummiest part was Viffer telling eli the he owed him money.....sleazeball!
