JSTAT gives a brief history of South Lake Tahoe or Stateline casinos in Nevada. Montbleu, Horizon, Harveys, and Harrahs. Montbleu was Caesars Tahoe, and before that, Park Tahoe. The Horizon was High Sierra after The Sahara, which was the jewel of Tahoe casinos in the 60's/70's. Harveys built a new hotel after a bomb exploded in 1980. Harrah's Tahoe was built by casino pioneer Bill Harrah.
