Reason: Seriously though wtf are they thinking? ooh i know an easy to learn way to make money....share it on youtube!
Yeah it's great the tuition from a top ROI player is just out there nice and FREE! Also, flatting a t120 raise @ bb30 otb with A8s is pretty terrible, but each to their own.
@ Part 4, blinds are 75/150 you raise to 450 with AK BvB to "induce a shove" from a competent reg's 810 chip stack... you do realize how silly it is trying to "induce" a less-than-minraise jam, ridiculousness compounded onto the fact that if you just open jammed yourself that he's snapping you off with literally all the hands you dominate. It's like you're trying as hard as possible not to get paid.
shoving is a better option but at the time I didn't think he was a regular. You'll notice I didn't have many hands on him. Now I look him up and obviously he is.
Like your videos... the one play that I've seen, so far, that I didn't like was the UTG shove with AJ at the beginning of the 4th video. I think it leaves you too open to domination and tournament expulsion. AK, AQ, AA, KK, QQ, and JJ all "pwn" you with quite a few players behind you potentially having one of these hands, not to mention all the coin-flips you may get involved with. Personally, I play that hand more safely. I'd not want to showdown that hand to a caller, and you stand some chance of winning the blinds with a 3x UTG bet, as it makes your hand look stronger to some.
