I think I died a little bit inside when I saw that river hit... But then I remembered that those are the types of players that we make ass loads of manies off of at the cash tables and instantly felt better.

ohhh I nearly cried with him, lol

I felt so bad for him when I saw that... I know how it feels to take a beat like that so deep (not for THAT much money but for a good amount)... I still feel for him and really hope he is feeling better about it by now.

((I did however miss the "blowup" they describe in last years WSOP, info on that?))

Just the grossest thing ever really, he handled it really well, Duhamel's evil smile tilts me so hard.

I dont think that was a smile of evil to be honest

Last year he did not blow up in the way the Phil Helmuth blows up. What they meant by that was on one of the final days of tournament day, not the last but either second to last or third to last, Afflek was chip leader of the tournament, but within roughly 3 hours of reaching chip leader, he was knocked out. The story goes something like that.

I orgasmed when that 8 hit.

wow what could he have that Js beat? so sick, after going this deep 2 years in a row and going out like this must be devastating.

He's figuring that only thing he is calling with there is a set. All in all, I thought Matt handled himself well of the beat. Sickest beat of his life right there.

He definatly had more grace than what I would have been able to muster. I doubt I could have been classy enough to keep from at least muttering (possibly saying loudly in his face after the grin) "What the ****? Jacks? You thought your ****ing jacks were good you dumb****? Are you trying to lose? Did you think you were leveling like the guy in The Princess Bride? GG donkey I hope you *****!" Affleck is the man and I doubt I would ever be able to take a beat like that under those circumstances and maintain my composure as long as he did.

i like how he explained at the ft that when he 3b him "he usually doesn't have anything so i think my hand's the nuts" so then he proceeds to throw matt's 3b range out the window by 4betting so as to play vs his 5b or 4bflat call range lol. then he said i was more worried about him having 9s or Ts (which have him in exactly the same shape as AA lol) and that he just decided "**** it lets gamble"

guess thats why he ships 9m and the bracelet and im looking for backers lol.
