His vegan/crossfit thing is also pretty cringey at times.

I like him, he's super entertaining to watch at times, but man, that rake stuff is really bad.

I don't know what it is, but i just don't like and trust Daniel Negreau.

I believe that his preaching of "small ball" ruined the game, mainly at the lower stakes. They see this "pokerstar" playing 87o, calling raises with suited connectors, etc and think that's how you're supposed to play...without realizing this was successful for DN because of his excellent hand-reading & post-flop play. The result is 90% of players in a $50 daily at your local casino calling any raise with garbage and praying they hit gin, then thinking they're stars when they make a disguised flush they ignored pot odds with on the flop and turn and smacked on the river. His strategy in his books simply does not work for players who are amateurs and not excellent hand readers, so when weak players try to apply it they turn the game into a big luckfest.

But yeah, I think the guy is washed up. He can no longer get value out of his hidden hands because they are expected, and when he plays "normal" hands and hits his demeanor changes so much a 6 month-old can read him.

If we were to assume that your beliefs are correct, how could creating a bunch of fish possibly have ruined the game?

More people playing junk, more chances of getting lucky and hitting junk winners, more chances of getting beat by 6x suited refusing to fold a gutterball til the river.

This doesn't make a lot of sense, basically you are saying that it's bad that he showed fish how to play horribly??????

Maybe you guys like playing no fold'em NL hold'em against a bunch of suckout artists, but I don't.
