Are WPN's one mil top prize spins beatable? Are WPN's one mil top prize spins beatable?

Hey Everyone,

I am wondering if anyone has ran the numbers to see how having a million dollar top prize in a $5 spin on WPN changes the variance and win rate needed to beat the game. I'm guessing they are soft but I don't know if that matters when I'll likely never play for the top multiplier. I've read that having those super rare top multipliers ends up being like paying a higher rake, but I don't know how bit of an affect it has. I tried to find the software to calculate this but didn't have any luck. The numbers are:
$1 mil - 1 in 10 million
$5k - 200 in 10 million
$500 - 500 in 10 million
$125 - 10,000 in 10 million
$50 - 70,000 in 10 million
$30 - 818,976 in 10 million
$20 - 1,842,749 in 10 million
$10 - 7,257,574 in 10 million

Thanks for any insight!

The software you are looking for is called "SwongSim". I have downloaded it many years ago but not sure if there is still a thread going on, probably I guess?
You can insert all the numbers for yourself and make adjustments as you like.

To get a good idea of realistic winrates it makes sense to remove the top multipliers from the calculation because its very unlikely that you will hit them.
Without the top 3 multtiplayers the effective rake changes from 6% to 7,5% and you need about 41 chipev per game to break even. That is very possible, especially at micro stakes.
Also take into consideration that ACR has much lower traffic than stars for example so the games wont always load fast, even at the micros. The software is also much slower than stars which results in lesss games per hour. I hope I could help, I did the numbers quick so if you find an error let me know. gl

I got 7.5% "rake" after removing those top 3 too, but wasn't 100% if my math was correct. I'm beating the 2s for a good bit more than 41 chipev per game right now, so it seems like a green light to move up.

Thanks for the help!

From my experience They are beatable only because they are soft, but I don’t like them. I’m guessing 1 million is 2%+ of total $ROI in the long run. If I had the choice I wouldn’t play them, but ACR has nothing else in the middle between $2 and $10 spins.

We actually dont need software to do this calculation. Its pretty simple math, which we can just do in our head. The 1M price comes out every 10M games, and the total buyin for 10M games is 10M X 5 X 3 = 150M. So 1/150 or 0,67% of each buyin goes to purchase a lottery ticket for the 1M price. This does not seem all that different from other Spin n Go formats, so this particular format is likely no more difficult to beat that the others.

That being said my personal opinion is, that beating Spin and Gos in general is a bit of an uphill battle. Even a 6% rake is pretty high, when you only get a 25BB starting stack, and blinds go up every 3 minutes. So personally I think, the regular speed or turbo 6-9 man SnGs on ACR are a better deal and much easier to beat. And they also give more relevant practice for playing MTTs, since you start with a 100BB stack and need to navigate a bubble.
