Lately I have noticed some regs open shoving extremely wide around 4bb in heads-up situation. Open shoving hands, that should fold according to GTO or Nash.
Some examples are 73s at 4bb, 75o at 3.5bb, 82s at 5bb etc.

Same with 3handed situation, open shoving button with hands like K3o at 5bb, q7o at 4bb etc, again should be fold according to GTO and Nash.

One can argue that this is just a leak in their games, but it seems very unlikely to have such a leak in a winning's reg game.

Any idea about the reason of these plays ?

idk about spins, but in hu, population is overfolding to openshoves so you should go wider than nash

yeah but they are open shoving against me.. I don't think I am overfolding at all, also there is no way they can know it because there is no hand history or hud where I play.

I'm curious if it could be related to the timing, maybe next hand blinds will be bigger and they will post BB, game will be even shallower and this would be very disadvantage for BB next hand.

Could it be a thing?

populations play similar everywhere, so readless showing wider will be good idea regardless where you play
I mean, its nothing new, readless you call bit tighter than nash and shove bit wider
if they know very well you are a reg, they could think you are tight, otherwise I dont know why would someone os wider versus solid opponent
