Hi guys,

Simple question, simple answers:

Why did you chose hu sngs over hu cg?

I have a lack of motivation

Thanks!

Because you can't be a ***** pos and decline action in sngs.

freedom to control your session times is a big one

because hu cash starts at 50nl and husng start at $1' which makes it much more likely for a recreational player to grind up from the beggining

I believe HU SNGs has a lot less variance than cash, if u play normal or turbo... Ive tried both, mainly playing 4 man shootouts, and cash, and even though i feel like the opposition is the same at 50NL and the 7$ 4 man shootout, i feel alot less confident when playing cash.

The flawed game selection of heads up cash and large barrier to entry (50NL or 100NL HU are usually the lowest levels with decent enough rake) are huge turn offs for me.

+1 , I think I saw a NL50 bumhunter/grinder making ~2k a month with a rake of 7k orso. He was playing it full time.

Yep....anytime i've ventured/explored HU cash, it just seemed like an overpopulated reg pool with an underpopulated fish pool. One thing ive always wondered tho, and was embarrassingly too lazy to ever research; what exactly is the rake in HU cash like relative to husngs? Right around the same 5%? I've always had the notion for some reason that there was less rake with HU cash

Rake in cash HU format is more than husng's.Yes 5% for reg speed/maybe 4 % i think in turbo's.If you were 1 tabling turbo's you get maybe 6/7 games per hour @ say 15's this equates to under $5.The lowest buy in i beleive in HU cash is the 25/50c tables which i stand corrected, charge somewere between 15-20 bb's per 100 hands, which you will do per hour.Rake therefore in cash is roughly 1.5 times that of sng's (comparing 15's V 25/50c).

I think the rake declines more quickly as you move up the hu cash ladder (bc the cap) vs the husng ladder, but I'm not 100% sure.

I've always wondered who is making the most at high stakes in heads up cash vs husng. I was always under the impression the cash guys are making significantly more. Didn't sauce make 5mil last year? Not sure if that is just because he plays loads of various formats. But for midstakes guys I wonder if HUSNG guys are making more then cash guys? There is no equivalent sharkscope for cash right?

Highstakesdb cuts off far higher than equiv HUSNG stakes, but indicators are fairly favorable for HUSNGs, at least at the top.

Below the top is impossible to really tell. HU cash isn't exactly what it used to be though.
