When should I start multitabling? When should I start multitabling?

When do you think it is a good time to move from 1 table to 2 tables? I understand there are certain benefits form 2 tabling (or maybe even more?). But that you may not learn so much playing more than 1 table. So any advice on this?

It's really different for everyone, all you can do is try it and see how it feels.

If your 2-tabling hourly is better than 1-tabling hourly, by all means go for it.

imo there should not be a fixed moment in time where you should switch from 1 to 2 tables. you should rather incorporate 2 tabling in your routine occasionally, increasing the frequency, while always leaving some time for 1 tabling where you focus hard on every single decision. that way you prevent yourself from thinking too little and focusing too much on volume, at least that is a problem i have when i exclusively 2 table for larger periods of time.

you should manually start adding a 2nd table when first table is very easy or blinds are high already, mostly push/fold for example.

I heard from a vid or something that u shoud start multitabling when 90%+ of ur decisions are automatic. So basically when single tabling becomes incredibly boring for u

you can add a 2nd table when you get a feeling of how the current game will run and take it from there.

Tuesday

(but also - multitabling is a skill in itself - so treat learning it as such)

depends on how long and what type of game youre playing.

Its easier to play start up more tables if youre playing sng as theyre lesser decisions to make compared to cash games.

what are u [laying?

You can improve your game a lot y only 1 tabling.

Improving your 2 tabling skills is like training at the gym. Start the session with one, when you get in the zone and feel that you are playing your A game add the 2nd one, play like this until you start feeling tired/uncomfortable, then end the remaining time of your session with only one.

I'd say making the move from 1 to 2 tables is the hardest, adding a 3rd and 4th (if you wished to) isn't nearly as difficult as the first transition.
