Struggling with how aggressive to be when connecting on flop with weak pairs and short-stacked. I thought jamming would get him off any draws in hopes he hadn't connected. However, I suppose since so many hands are played preflop in hu there's a good chance of him connecting on any given flop? Would your suggestion differ if he were the short stack?
Well I think these sorts of flops in particular really connect with his limping range. Also, didn't think about it the first time but you're actually under a lot of icm pressure here. This flop is definitely a snap-check, and you're probably looking to fold facing one big bet or two streets of action from him. If he were the short stack it wouldn't change too much. There's just no reason to overplay your bottom pairs here, even with pair+draw.
In general, you should bet with your strong hands, check with your meh hands, and mix between bet and check with your weak hands (as bluffs). This hand is too strong to be a bluff, but too weak to be value.
