Hypers can easily go down to 100-200 bins.
Never played hypers as my mainly grind but read around these numbers.

absolute variance obv heavily depends on sample-size and winrate.
It's pretty much impossible to get broke on hypers with 75bi's with a good winrate (3.5%).
It's a flip to experience a 75bi downswing with the same winrate over 90k games...

I'd say if you're 50+ bb downswing you'd do best to improve your game or move down. For players with solid win rates, 50+ bb downswings aren't that common. They only get more common in high stakes reg wars where the edges are super thin.

I played 4000 HU hypers last year. Broke even with ITM 51.5%. 2000 $1.50 (down $50) and 2000 $3.50 (up $50), and my biggest downswing was about $100 or roughly 25 buy ins. My biggest upswing was around the same.
