this is a tough question thats very dependant. if you look at it in terms of buyins then for sure mtts has way more swings. for example if you have abi of 100 at spins you will have less variance then if you had an abi of 100 at mtts. so the short answer to your question is mtts and your welcome

exactly this ya some ppl have to move down because they cant make enough money without rakeback to justify staying at there stake. soo what happens is that the great players will benefit from it and the mediocre players will be pushed out

yes absolutely spins have a future, if your willing to put in the hours and have the work ethic it takes to be successfull at them. If pstars comes out with a new game then you will easily be able to switch to it if you have mastered spins. If you can master one format its likely that you will be able to be great at another format with some adjusting and coaching
Thanks for you answers. Here's some more to keep you busy

What poker theory or books have greatly improved your game that you can recommend others to study?

Solid ev roi's/cEV from 15s to 100s Spin and Go's in today's game? Also this is person dependent but if you're a full time player, what number of games should you aim for per month?

Your own proudest poker achievement in your career online and live?

Cheers

Great well so far

Any study method or program you use for going through your hands? What study technique you think helped you the most through your career? Any recommendations for other players?

i havent read too many poker books, but ofcourse mental game of poker is one that stands out. mental game of poker 1 and 2 for sure would be my recommendations.

im not too familar with the lowest stakes and what ev rois are possible tthere but at 60s you want to shoot for 60+ and at 100s you want to shoot for 50+ chip ev. ideally if you want to be one of the best in the game at 60s you want to shoot for 70 chips per game and at 100s you want to be at 60+ chips. As far as games per month i think you should play 2-4k games per month depending on how many tables your playing

my proudest achievement is making supernova elite 4 straight years. for anyone whos made SNE, they know how tough that is and how much of a grind it is

thanks for the great questions!!!

thank you!!!! I use pt4 and if you really know how to filter through and understand it well it can be the best practical tool you can ever use to study your game. pt4 analysis has been my number 1 study tool and everything else has been secondary. i know and understand piosolver pretty well, and every other tool i havent really used. My recommendations for other players is getting very familiar with pt4 and all the great filters it has to offer and comparing your numbers to other great players and seeing what you can improve on, it will be the best way to find your own leaks. joining a stable is also a great idea as you will be surrounded by like minded people that are commited to your success. and will have access to great coaches who can expedite the learning process for you

What can you say about how you got in contact with ppl that have helped you the most during your carreer?

Do you have a study routine that you follow strictly and how does it look like?

How do you approach reqs blind? Do you start to pressure on the get-go or do you take the low-variance lines with high pot control and high SPR until you get a read of what kind of req ur playing?

great question, its funny how i came in contact with my poker mentor is that i battled him in hu games and he crushed me and eventually we started talking online and then we met in person and he was basically the guy who inspired me to move abroad after black friday and to push up the stakes. So i would say this is one of the best ways it to network with the regs that are playing the same levels as you or if you can try and network with the regs playing a bit higher then you and just chat with them, shoot them some compliments im sure they would appreciate that and it would open them up to helping you more as well and acting as a mentor to you.

i dont have a set study routine, i do coaching 4-5 times a week soo that helps me a lot!!!! i find that i learn a lot through coaching, and when im not coachign im playing around with pt4 a lot and reviewing my own hands when i have time inbetween games. so its very constant for me

depends on what format and what stakes, at high stakes hu games you want to approach as gto as you can. at lower stakes games similiar but you want to adjust and exploit your opponents more at lower-midstake games as they are gonna be making plenty of mistakes that you can capitalize on. At high stakes your focus should be on playing unexploitable as oppose to exploitative. at lower stakes where your edge is going to be higher i would say the opposite is true. thanks for the question!!

the bali team seemed to have been banned from pstars. about your question on how you can become a 1k reg, i have a couple of questions for you to better understand your situation, what stakes are you playing now? how many hours a week do you grind? if your a part time player, are you willing to play full time and dedicate yourself completely to these games and go through big downswings?

Re: THE WELL: JACKSTACK99

thanks for your reply! im kinda surprised about bali since for what other reason can u be banned on heads up than botting...and they are pros after all and dont really need it, i ve been playing successfully $22 and $55 at partypoker but i decided to climb higher quickly and played 109 and 215$ without proper bankroll and it ended obviously, now i swtiched to PS and im rebuilding bankroll on 7s around 70-80 hours, full time but tbh i dont like downswings i dont like to suffer losing 100k$ if thats all what i have

One Bali member appears to have moved into the youtube self-help guru space. Also joined smartspin as a mental coach.

Re: THE WELL: JACKSTACK99

True, it's Adam. I have questions to Mr Jackstack
Can bots make profit vs you/top regs? I know that bots pushed you out from 1ks but can they profit or both sides lose?
What is minimum reasonable bankroll to start 100s in your opinion?
Spiritedreal and Grindation are at war now. I wonder how such war begins? Cuz they grind peacefully at 500s for some time and then they are fighting? One starts to think that the other one is not worth 500s? Who do you think is going to win?
Did ChuckNorrisQ ever tried to climb higher stakes? In my opinion he is too good for 200s

if you dont like suffering downswings then you have two options, either play low stakes or change your perception towards downswings and begin to embrace them. 70-80 hours a week is very strong keep that up and pair it with some strong studying of the game and an obsession to improve and learn and you will be in great shape moving forward!!!
