there ok, not a huge difference. hu hypers are not a pure rakeback game anyways. its worse for 6max and 9 max games esp the hypers

no not really, ive always stuck with nl holdem, i thought omaha was interesting at one point but i got over that pretty quickly haha. im a one trick pony

haha no i think hes fine, i use to sleep the same way as he does now. i think its all good as long as your focus is heavily on improving and crushing poker. sleep is not something i would sacrifice for any reason really

tough question, id go to the best steakhouse around and have a nice tender steak. and the drink hmmmm id probably have an arizona green tea. i dont drink them anymore because theres soo much sugar in them but if i was dying id probably have to chug one of those

Judging by the question he probably didn't have two hands to type personal best. Just a wild guess.

Also multiquote will make this a bit better experience for reading.

Re: THE WELL: JACKSTACK99

How do you judge if you have played a hand well postflop? Do you run a gto solver for that hand and decide if its ok to diverge from gto for exploiting reasons or be more close to the gto solution, based on opponent hud stats?

Do you think its solid for one person to analyze his own hands and make a desicion on his own whether he has played well or not, or a third person's input is needed?

Do you do coaching in 2017 or participate in groups with fellow regs in order to discuss hands?

How close to gto do you think a reg's game should be in order to battle for the mid/high stakes? Is gto knowledge and application essential for surviving the battles in 2017?

Thank you for your time.

exactly this yes, i have a strong understanding of gto and also in which ways i can deviate vs players to exploit them maximally with realizing where im leaving myself exploitable and making sure im not being taken advantage of in that way

you can analyze the hands on your own if your very good, it really just depends on how far advanced you are in your poker knowledge. you dont know what you dont know. so sometimes you may miss things that you may not think are important but another set of eyes can catch them pretty quickly

i only coach team 651, i dont do any other coaching outside of that. and i discuss hands with team members

you must play very close to gto, and some minor exploitations depending on who you play. the higher stakes you get the more gto you want to be because your opponents wont have any holes in there game.

in the hu hyper world yes gto knowledge and application is essential for sure to be able to survive and thrive in the games

Are you using Nash equilibrium or more Sage towards the end-game. What games are you playing now ?

great question. I never take a full day off to study, because studying without implementing is not good. you want to study and then implement what you have learned immediately. the best ratio for me is one hour study/coaching in the morning and then grinding 8-10 hours per day. and i always review my hands inbetween games to make sure im always on my A game

i dont have much of a stance on it, this well is making me realize that i havent really given too much thought about things like this. i'm in my own little world over here clicking buttons haha. id like to hear some arguments for and against it, and that would help me choose which one i believe makes more sense
