first off, thanks for the kind words i really appreciate that. As far as protein shakes ya i've been taking something called "naked whey" which is a super healthy whey powder but it doesn't taste great, not terrible either tho. You can add whatever you want to it to try and make it taste better, i usually just drink it plain with water. My diet is pretty good, i stay away from fried foods for the most part and eat clean 90 percent of the time and allow myself a cheat meal or two on tuesdays

good question, i have a sep ira that i contribute too for my retirement but its not something i'm ever thinking about actively. I plan to never retire from working or pursuing a passion/business unless i have some serious health issues or something like that so will see how things go. I know a lot of ppl have plans to retire when they are 65 and kick back and relax and do nothing but i prefer to always be involved in some kind of business and to remain active physically and mentally for as long as possible. My "retirement" in the future when im 60s or 70s will most likely come in the form of just working less but not actually fully retiring. Atleast this is the way i feel now

hard to make the comparision with rb and lack of hud tbh. Lack of hud will always effect the roi one way or another since it discounts the amount of edge you will have and ya there are cartels

First off, I want to say that I just found out about your stable on twitch. Tom was playing some spins and he said that there was a funny hand on the 651 youtube channel worth having a look at. Then, while browsing I stumbled upon your 1hr interview and that was an eye opener for me.

I appears that at least 1 players at 15's and up(ACR/WPN) are from Russia, Poland(and none of them are Recreational players). I am pretty sure that games are even tougher on Pstars.

How would an american go about making $50k a year playing HUSNGs? Would moving out of the country and playing on stars be the best decision? what stakes? assume a $20k roll

thanks, I think for sure it has a lot more then a couple of years left. I stand optimistic but keep in mind this is my humble opinion. I think only the players that are studying hard and staying well ahead of the curve are gonna be the ones to survive. One easy way to do that is to join an excellent team where you can continue learning and staying sharp

I think there are some american sites you can play on to make as little as 50k per year. As far as moving out of the country thats a choice you have to make on your own whether its worth it to do that for 50k a year. The stakes is also something that depends on your tolerance for swings and emotional ups and downs

These guys were clearly afraid of you and after what i saw so was I. Some fishreg got into these mines, he was somehow unpleasant yet very confident. He tried to apologize to you for entering the mine. In the manner of behaviour you were like Gustavo from ''Breaking Bad''. You apologized to him but in a way that I knew he is not gonna make it, and indeed after your speech was over (unfortunately i do not remember what you have said) you threw him into the acid and he cussed you. Then it was my turn, I apologized for entering the mine without calling anyone from outside I said that I did not know that cartel rule. For some reason you let me to get out. I was wondering why, I thought that you must be afraid I ll go to the police. Then in later part of my dreams I got along with boys and even shared lobbies with them.
Now the question of matter that bothers me for some time. You guys from 1ks have huge bankroll and there are many of you. Person who is trying to get there will surely have way less money, so even if he is as good as you or even slightly better will you allow him to join or you ll use bankroll advanatage on your favor and play him as long as he ll not be able to aford losing more bankroll?

Hey Jack, thank your inspiring threads, you gave me a lot of inspiration to start poker seriously! I decided to take a month off from the job and see how i do with hypers. The results are that I made more money than at my job I dislike and moreover I had a lot of fun grinding! However I am confused about several stuff regarding my poker career and I thought you might be so kind to advise me.
I played low stakes and after 3200 games my roi was 3,8%. Like 90% games was vs fish. I would like to have at least 5% roi vs fish, how should I study to achieve that (I have no idea about studying because i have never done that). Which software should I use? I understand that playing GTO is what I want to do vs good regs and vs fish I should exploit their mistakes, is that correct?
How much time should I spend on studying and how much on grinding? (so far i just grind when i feel not tired; mentally strong but in last 2 weeks when I became confident and obsessed about playing I played 60h+ a week so how many should I cut and invest in studying?
I am able to play max only 4 tables, do you know any tips how can I learn to play more tables? What is your max?
How far do you think I can go if I ll fully dedicate to poker? From what I understand highest stake regs will never share with me because of their enormous bankroll, but what is the highest stake which beginner without huge bankroll can reach now? Are there any rules of joining cartels nowadays? I saw some rules existed in past but I dont think that's the case anymore.
What bankroll would you recommend for moving up? I believe the higher stake the more buyins because the toughest and more determined to defend lobby regs. If you could make a list for me starting from 15$ I would really appreciate your suggestion.

Hey, so in my opinion the best way to get great at playing fish is by studying gto and having a very strong foundation of gto in your game so that you can easily see where the fish are deviating from gto and once you know that then the exploits will come very easily and naturally. As far as your grind to study ratio just do what you think is best in terms of what yields you the highest returns but it sounds like you need to do a lot more studying so i highly recommend getting LUCID GTO which is the best software out there to study gto and set up drills so that you can see where you're making mistakes. I don't have any tips on playing more tables really, just test it out and get used to it is what i would say. You have a ton of questions here tho and its difficult to answer all of them so if i missed something important you want to know about just type it again but try and type less questions per message

I'm not going to be running sims etc., just interested to mess around in my free time and understand what GTO looks like in the format. Can I do that w/ Lucid GTO, and if not is there a tool that you (or anyone else) would recommend?

Very little amount. I don't play hu hypers anymore because i live in ontario and the poker market here got segregated so i've been playing HU and 6max cash games on .ON sites. Although, right before the markets got segregated HU hypers were on the verge of dying and slowing down extremely so i would have been forced to switch games at some point anyways
