how many 1$ 8man HU sng's shootouts would you win out of 8?
- Didn't do well in highschool

- Obviously it requires some basic talent and intelligence to beat those levels, but if a player beats 200s he very likely has this, so almost anyone at that level could move to 1ks with the right approach.

- I guess like 4.5 on avg?

Obv. it will be a combination but would you move up with a ROI of 2% over 800 games or less if your bankroll and confidence dictated you to ?
I started poker as a plan to generate an income, 200s seemed like a good standard to work to and at the time I thought I would be satisfied at that level, because you could make 5 figs a month there which seemed like all the money in the world. It took me over a year to get to that level but after that it all went automatically. It seemed easy to move up higher and I had the ambition for this and nothing better to do with my time. I have always been well rolled, usually 50-100BI's because the amounts to play for always scared/intimidated me.

If you have 2% roi over 800 games you have to consider how accurate that is. If you feel like you're crushing you should move up but if your roi is actually 2% you might have to improve before considering to move up.

I plan going to Amsterdam in a month, you know good places I can visit?

Which amount of money do you need to be satisfied and wouldn`t feel the need to make more money?

If Isildur wouldn`t play on tilt that much how good would he be?

You have a pretty terrible taste in music IMO.
- Haven't been to Amsterdam often, couldn't give you better advice then any travel guide.

- The only amount that would make me stop playing would be any amount that is guaranteed to be enough for the rest of my life. If not, there's a good reason to keep playing, for it might never be this easy to make money at a later stage in my life.

- If isildur played less tables and didn't do that dumb preflop **** he would be really really good at husngs. Its some small details in his play that impressed me, he would feel tendencies very well in small spots that no one cares about.

You're kidding about the music right

Have you found the strategic/analytical mindset you've developed from poker to flow over into your every day life a lot?

How do your parents feel about your poker abilities?

Do your friends know how baller you are or no?

Will your future wife have to have at least a base knowledge of poker?

Can you dance?

Name 3 people (if you can) that would have an edge on you in a 1k sample HUSNG hu4rollz (turbo structure).

Did you know that penguins #1 enemy is the killer whale?

In your opinion, versus random losing villain (let's say, -8%roi) in a superturbo: what is the optimal preflop raise % from the button, optimal 3bet% oop?

u mention about there are two groups of husng players, one use more (timing, Psychology, and game flow) and the other uses logic, theory and range. Which group is going to be more successful in higher stake like (200+)??is it possible to master all of the elements or u just have to categorize yourself into "feeling" or "logic" player. Anyway, thx for doing the well, your success in poker makes u special but it is your commitment to education make u a REAL role model for all of us.

Cash is much easier to multitable then husngs because its such a static game and you don't have new screens popping up etc. I usually play 1-3 husngs comfortably, superturbo's its easy to play 4-6 and SH cash you can easily do 8 or more.

I've been playing plo for a week or three now, and am far from good at it. If I had to give 5 tips:
- Realise that position, especially as stacks get deeper, is insanely important in plo. You have to play super tight in position and you can play super loose on the button. If you're say 300bb deep, against an early open, who opens maybe 10% in that position, you can probably play like double that range and be profitable.
- This relates to the previous one, but be really tight OOP, for nlhe players it will seem very natural to open something like J893DS utg but that's too loose. Another example, MP opens and its folded to you in the bb and you have QKT5 single suited, you gotta fold that.
- Don't overrate hands like AQ25DS, it looks pretty but is not strong, the cards dont work well together. Also, low cards are TERRIBLE for your hand, 2345DS is a weak hand.
- In plo there's no such things as betting only for value or only as a bluff, often you want to keep betting just to keep initiative and possibly bluff with your made hand on the river.
- 3b a ton in position, esp with deeper stacks and use your position to apply pressure

- No, aside from that being good at poker gives you a ton of confidence which kinda falsely transitions to other things. Doesn't have to be a bad thing though.

- They resented it at first, I was going to college at the time but never went because I was so obsessed with poker. Obviously I would fail every exam and it didn't take me long just to never show up anymore. My parents really didn't want me to play and pretty quickly I would lie to them and pretend that I was going to college and passing exams. At this time I hardly made money with poker either, maybe 1k per month, so their point of view was very understandable.

My mother told me not to come to their house ever again until I had quit and started getting results in something that mattered. My dad was more sympathetic towards poker, as he had played chess for a living in his own years and his brother had done that all his life, so it fell in line.

Shortly after that I started winning steadily and actually won money that meant something, I think 25-30k or so, and then out of nowhere I binked some tourney on ftp that I late bought into with fpps for 60k and from then on I just went on a roll and my parents were ok with it, given that I was actually making good money and not wasting my time.

- I only have a few close friends so they know I play poker.

- Haha ofc not

- No but I would love to be able to, should definitely get some classes.

- If all 1k games would be 1 tabling then livb would have an edge but if it was 4 tabling I would. R-quaresma would beat me 4 tabling because his short game is better and I would screw up to much on that. Heybude prolly to because he knows how I play.

- Didn't know lol

- This is very very dependant on their ranges. If they open 100% you can probably reshove like 50%. If theyre fold to btn steal is over 45 you can raise almost 100%.

what players do you think are the hardest to play vs in ST.
