I have noticed he plays a very different style from Serkules who has a lot less variance in his results. R-Q seems to take every little edge with respect to shoving ranges because he seems to shove a lot more frequently than other players. As a consequence his results have a lot of variance but he puts more volume than most players (probably he is the most capable superturbo multitabler) so it irons out the variance.

3. How did you study the game? Most valuable resources (books, videos, software, etc.)?
1. This year I've been playing almost only 2ks and 5ks, as many tbls as possible without table selecting for super long sessions, not that smart and it sets you up for huge variance or plain losing. I have had great results on ftp and cash so I'm good on the year.

2. Talking and playing with him and watching him. Pretty sure he makes no mistakes and plays very close to optimal at superturbos, and seems unbeatable. Serkules makes some mistakes. The reason his roi is better is because r-quaresma plays like 4-8 tables and almost only 1k, which has a tougher field of players. R-Quaresma has also played cap nlhe cash up to 500/1000 and is considered 2nd best out of everyone there.

3. I never studied the game much, just played a ton and I would automatically think about it and come up with things when I wasn't playing, I seemed to figure a lot of stuff when I was done playing and tried to fall asleep. I've recently gotten a subscription to bluefirepoker, which is phil galfonds site. Its for cashgames but his videos are plain amazing, very good material.

In a superturbo, do you ever fold a hand at the bottom of your open shoving range because of gameflow considerations?

Example, 8bb effective, you're dealt 57s. You just shoved 4 buttons in a row. You get the feeling you might get looked up light. Do you sometimes muck it?

criteria to donk readless?
hokie and mers seem to think gutshots are the only donk worthy hand readless but from what i've read it seems like you would be in the c/r school of thought for those hands (and likely have no readless donk rangeE)

Or do you think that most players eventually get burned out and eventually transition into other things once they master their craft (like spamz, mers and skates)?

care to make any comment about your criteria for it, or do you do it just at times to make it harder for villain? imo there should be no inconsistency in a readless strategy except between stakes, so im thinking there is some right answer on when to donk readless, but im just not getting it fully.

I take five minutes break at least once an hour, helps to reset your focus. I think because of this I hardly get distracted, if I do I quit usually. Nonetheless I don't play my A game that often, but its fine to play worse if you still think you beat the field and it leads to a larger total profit.

Almost never, only in the rare occasion you face someone that calls 100%

This hand also never under what you can shove it for, because it doesn't matter if they call lighter then they should against your Q3o shove, because that only adds hands in their calling range that you're ahead against.

Donk criteria I think has to be based on your opponents cbetting tendencies rather then just hand strength. Say your opponent cbets a face up and polarized range or fails to cbet certain boards enough then that could be reasons to start donking.

You are saying that u didn’t study the game much, but how did you learn, assuming you were a player who played his game more in the gameflow/timing/psychological-way, to switch to the logical/ranges/theory-way (switch as meaning in more balance between those)?
Did you play soccer when you were younger? And do you like to compare it with poker?

- Without

- A pill like from the movie 'Limitless', that allows you to use all your brain capacity.

- Batman, he's more courageous then any other superhero because he doesn't have special powers and can actually die.

- College

- I can't think of anyone that really gave me trouble while moving up. I ran really good at the time I moved through the stakes. I can imagine some players, maybe livb wouldve given trouble if I didn't run so good at the time.

- I guess there are similarities between mtts and husngs and the players that play them, but in general mtt players are just really dumb and ******ed. I think nlhe cash players transition best, particularly cap players obviously, and I hate playing them most to.

- Dogs

- I have no idea

- Haha that's a cool one, "You're still the one" by Shania Twain, so corny.

- r-quaresma, spamz0r, livb

- I think most people will get bored with husngs before they actually dry up, I've kinda quit them to. If you look at every year's leaderboards on sharkscope most guys stay around for 1-2 years max. Only person who's been playing consistently for more years is livb.

I know this isn't really helpful but I would always think about improvements automatically whenever not playing and things would come up by itself and thus for the logical/ranges part I only had to force myself to think in that direction.

Obviously I'm really bad at any sport.

That must hurt a little... When in downsing that big, could you do other things and not think about it or would it just consumme your mind entirely?

I'm not good at treating poker like a job so that really killed me, never felt more on the bottom of the world then that, makes you cry to yourself what the hell you're doing and why.

Everyone says this but its good to have something besides poker, if poker is the only thing you get your self-worth from you're basically putting your self-worth in something that you don't have control over.
